Pete, thanks for the review. Rick has been great to watch since the very first time he was on watched SoT episode. Always love his enthusiasm and obvious love of music and can hardly wait to receive the copy from Rick and enjoy it. I just got this in the mail yesterday, and so far have only listened to the first disc. This is an outstanding album! From the art work, the production, the songwriting, the musicianship and Rick's vocals, all top-of-the-line. Muscular rhythm guitar throughout, and incredible lead playing, and all so well done. I remarked to Rick that although it is in the classic rock/hard rock style, it doesn't really sound that much like anyone else. He definitely has his own sound and style. Vocally, when he goes softer, I hear a bit of Burton Cummings, and yeah, I did hear the odd Robert Plant-ism here and there, but it's very subtle. I'll be listening to disc two today, as I drive around to my accounts, and after I've had a chance to give this entire album a really good listen - and there is a lot to digest - I'll be writing a review of it of my own. Excellent work, Rick! You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this, and it really shows. Congratulations!

@@Jamie.Laszlo just a random inquiry being that it's legal in most states and the music either past or present seems to cater to that type of music, whether it's subculture or pop culture, certainly enjoy drinking beers listening to records, but I'll be honest, smoking along with some of these groups makes some more sense to some of these albums , I was certainly curious if it made hard listens become more easier to identify with, thanks for the response to end the ponder , looking forward to your Cult rankings , cheers Peter and Jamie ..(you both have awesome culture insights and humor to match )
