Excellent summery with one spectacular error. The aircraft shown around minute 34 is NOT the Saro Princess, which flew properly, but Hughes H4 ‘Spruce Goose’ on its one and only ‘flight’.

That is a neat jet fighter flying boat, the US had the Dea Dart but it too was never used.

The only wrong part of the programme was they showed the Hughes H4 flying boat footage instead of the Saunders Roe Princess (which flew more than just the hop the Hughes did).

This is an old video, posted now for our info. Old errors have to stay there, for authenticity. But yes, an annotation at the stage of the error would have helped.

Nice informative video,..... until they show the Hughs H-4 "Spruce Goose" and call if the "Princess". Really put into question about other facts I did not know about. Shame. Very well done, until then. Oh well.
