World of Warships - Quick Cut: Tier VII British Destroyer HMS Jervis

The mid-tier British destroyers are pretty un-inspiring; Tier VII's HMS Jervis is no exception. Her torpedo range is the real gut-punch, a mere 7km on a ship with a detection of around 6.5km or so. I'd love to be able to say that her main battery makes up for this deficiency.... but it kind of doesn't. This game on Two Brothers highlights some many of the issues with this ship - bad torpedo range, no AA, low HP, etc. - while also showcasing some of the shenanigans you can get up to with her. In particular, I get amazing use out of the short duration British smokes.
In an effort to keep a better flow of content coming, I'm going to pretty up some of my more interesting Twitch games from a given week and share them on the channel. It kind of goes against my innate need to have a good-looking finished product, but I'm going to try this and see what you guys think. Please let me know in the comments. These are much faster to produce than my normal stuff, but are a little less polished.

Loved the save of the Västerås. Grinding the Jervis at the moment and have no positive experiences in it to speak of. At best you can hydro rush some smoke screens or suicide torp some BB but it's not enjoyable. Not that tier 7 DD's are in general but this in particular.

If Gadjah Mada isn't a thing then Jervis would be my fav t7 DD. Well at least it's a really close competition

It doesn't matter at all, but I know you (@searaptor) try to pronounce foreign words (ship names that is) correctly. Västerås is quite close to something like Vesteroes, but with the oe (å) being a longer sound.

How do you shoot over the islands like that if you dont mind me asking

If you have a lock on an enemy ship that is on the other side of some kind of cover from you, your guns will automatically elevate to hit that target. Depending on the target and the island, you may be able to lob shells over the island and land them on your opponent.
