Hi Raptor, I am curious to see your Le Hardy video. I like the Playstyke of the new French DD line a lot. Hi risk, hi reward. Torps are nice. One other thing, do you actually speak some German? Sometimes I hear you say some words. Or am I confused.

He can speak a bit. His "Captain's Cup" video (back when there was an illusion of a competition to put a community contributor in the game as a captain; I say illusion because it was obvious from the get-go that Jingles was going to win) in a German cruiser was entirely in German.

I do not speak German. My wife does. I have a few basic words in my vocabulary that get thrown around ("please" and "thank you", mostly). As Myomer notes, I have one video on the channel I did entirely in German... but my accent is terrible. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ene6oZl_nK5-brs

I'm kind of interested in the Kidd. But I don't see myself buying doubloons to buy it. I bought the F. Sherman with coal, and I think I'll probably buy the Salem. Not getting much steel, probably get the Gato, was hoping to get the Archerfish, but I don't see that happening.

Kidd is pretty tough to play if you're not comfortable with gunboat DD gameplay. It's great in small scale like ranked and brawls because less things to shoot at you. Salem is pretty decent for a coal ship but you don't have the hydro/radar combo like Des Moines and the Radar is only 8.5 km on Salem as opposed to 10km on DM

As Jack mentions, Kidd is a pretty good boat if you're comfortable with gunboat DDs that prefer knife-fights (which, in fairness, is a pretty short list). Like all USN DDs, she can harass larger targets at longer ranges when the opportunity arises, but it isn't the sort of thing she wants to be doing all the time.
