Looks great! Judge Minty was too good to simply be called a 'fan film'. I've watched Minty multiple times, which I rarely do for any fan films. You guys are turning out some REALLY impressive stuff, and I hope to someday see another story set in the Dredd Universe. Maybe a Judge Anderson solo story? Keep up the excellent work!

Hi, thanks - not from us I'm afraid - it costs us too much money in location hire, actors, and the post production is a real killer, where it's a case of working long nights and weekends or turning down paying work. There's not-for-profit and there's making a significant loss.

It seems crazy to me that Rebellion wouldn't pick you guys up to make a funded movie of Strontium Dog or Rogue Trooper. If Dredd can't get a sequel through normal channels, picking up a talented and proven indie team like yourselves to make a few low budget movies seems like a no-brainer to me. Given the incredible work you did on Judge Minty and the quality that's already apparent in the Strontium Dog trailer, it makes no sense to me that they wouldn't fund you to make more. But I guess you know that already!

Where can I find the full film....will it ever be available to buy?

It will be on youtube next year, probably May. We showed a version at Thought Bubble last weekend, but it still needs some effects finishing. We can't sell physical copies - we have given some away though with our previous fan film.

Thanks! We're showing something at Thought Bubble in November, but as with Judge Minty it won't be the final version that goes online. I expect the online version will be around the same gap, arriving around beginning of May.

We're showing a full version at Thought Bubble this weekend. Still needs work on VFX, and some trimming but it's intact. As for the costume. Funnily enough we had someone complaining when the grading was toned down and made grittier as well. Never going to please everyone. If we weren't having to fund everything ourselves, we'd have scope to try different costumes, but with a micro budget, you just have to do the best with what you have available.

before I say what I say, I loved judge minty. I love the 2000 ad comics. and I'm excited for this (being the closest thing we will get to a big screen adaptation of strontium dog for a while) and I hope you take criticism as something helpful, but I didn't like the camera work in judge minty. is it goanna be shaky and cheasy (the 1st person camera view of the bullet in judge minty) like that movie was? again, I liked it, but not the camera work.

btw, it looks like you guys are doing the strontium dog film like how Robert Rodrigues adapted Sin City on the big city (being that it looks almost exactly like the comic)

In answer to your questions - it's a bit late to request any changes to camera work since it's all shot. I wouldn't say it's vastly different - Like Minty mostly shot on a fig rig rather than a brushless gimbal like a Movi. Had a cheapo jib which was useful in one shot. Probably moves less though, more locked off shots, occasional wide shots even in the fight sequences I guess you'll just have to wait and see whether you like it or not. Full film will probably be on the Judge Minty channel, won't be on the starburst channel.

well.... I'm still a huge fan. the camera work was only a minor nitpick so I wont complain about that anymore. I also have one more question if you don't mind. Are you guys planning on doing other 2000 AD comic adaptations in the future?

Hi, thanks - nope this is our last one, we did half-start a Rogue Trooper trailer, but since these are all self-funded and Rebellion don't allow kickstarters we'd rather put our efforts into something we create for ourselves.

mmm stuff i like and stuff i dont. the dog house looks totally zarjaz. Alphas costume is to comicy and needs toned down and gritted up.
