Search for a Lost Driveway. | Satisfying Mow

Had to bust out the shovel to remove the roots of this grass as it had grown over the driveway. Unfortunately someone decided to liberate my good shovel from my equipment trailer, so I ended up using a trenching shovel instead.
I only had time this week to fully finish the front yard and driveway on this property in time. There will be a video of the back yard next week.

I really appreciate that you bag as you go. As much as it “slows you down” in the moment, that’s 10-15 lbs of clippings you won’t have to see or deal with again. So many guys blow the same clippings back and forth. I can’t help but think your way is more effective and efficient over all.

@@gibbleemowing I just appreciate the idea that once you cover an area, those clippings are done, and don't have to be dealt with again. as a kid, I loved to use the bagger and hated to rake after cutting. Fantastic job! Though my heart aches when I see videos like these ... in my mind, I just think, "where has our community gone?" ... Where are the neighbors, the kiddos/teens trying to earn summer money, or family to help? My dad lovingly forced us to mow our elderly neighbor's yard for 10 years growing up, and it was a beautiful friendship until she passed.

This is an amazing transformation, often these over grown properties look better but not really good, because the grass has turned brown at the bottom or is just mowed weeds, but this looks great.

Oh my gosh, this lawn is extremely tall and out of shape. Excellent candidate for a makeover! All I see, in my minds I; are horses chomping away at this lush grass. Your push mower is a BEAST to cut through this grass. I'm very impressed. Yes, unfortunately, lawns get put on the back agenda for various reasons. Hopefully, things will work out better for this family. Cute home with mature trees is appealing. Some decluttering is needed, but every home is unique to the owners tastes. Terrific job here

One with a blade clutch yeah the next model up from this one has it fitted but they have issues with burning out the clutch so ill wait till they resolve them.

Tim the Lawnmower and Blade Mate Lawn Care are my main Aussie mowing channels I watch and then have in the background to listen to while I work. I love how you bagged everything up as you went. It's a lot harder this way but makes for a clean cut if the mower is able to handle it. May those that unburdened you with your shovel suffer with a thousand fleas infesting their armpits! In the meantime, I'm subscribing to your channel and about to start binge watching it.

The cutting you pick up are great fertilizer given that you don't pick up the roots with em. I always use em around my trees and theyve grown noticeably faster than my other trees that haven't received the treatment. Been doing the test for a couple years talking about saplings but still don't waste em! Those deep green cuttings if you mix em up in gardening or something everything grows that much faster, and also they prevent unwanted growth because the air born seeds don't reach the soil instead get stuck in the dead grass you've thrown on the ground

Most of my equipment is commercial, My regular mower shop is selling this one for $1.5k its a Honda engine 216 self-propelled (their model has a blade clutch mine does not) It is an absolute beast of a mower, and I'm running mine with a tighter throttle spring which means more regular maintenance as the RPM is higher than factory running speed. It is not maxed out as that would kill it in no time just a little higher than factory.

I appreciate your input however this was cut at the highest cut than 1 down from that on the second pass, when a lawn is allowed to grow too long the length of the brown section can be up to 10 centimetres (or more for some grasses)

you should raise your mower do a first pass and since u hit it again at the end lower it back down to your desired height and you and your mower wouldn’t struggle as much
