I don't fresh water fish as much as I used to ( there's something out here that causes me to get really bad allergies) so I'm sticking to salt. I just can't get out there right now with the bad weather our way. Believe me, I'm going ape shizz over here waiting for a window to go pollo loco on these fish.

There was a 18 pound bass caught at lake Ray Roberts I can’t remember the exact date but it was between 2005-2009 it was never certified because it was caught on a jug line. Pretty sure the idiot killed it because he was so obsessed with showing it off but it just goes to show you can catch monster fish even from lakes that aren’t known big bass lakes.

Capt Corey - I'm watching your 18lb videos and I'm totally amazed. I'm a novice bass fisherman looking to catch a 10lb. My best so far is 4 lb. These lakes that you are fishing in seem to be amazing locations for big fish. I'm also in North Florida. Is it possible that you can list the names of these locations so I can visit these spots?

@@TheNorthFloridaAngler My bad budd lol. Hey, as much as i love watching you catch these chunks I'd love to see what you can do on artificials. I used a spinnerbait 3 days ago, only caught 6 but, one was 8.2 pounds, one was 7.4, then i had a 5.7 and, two 4 pounders, and, of course 1 little dink about a pound and a half. I don't even wanna mention the 12 pound mudfish, thought i had a giant until she started doing those head shakes. I wasn't to thrilled about that. It's part of it though. Hey, just curious but,.......have you ever tried Rodman's damn for bass? I'm sure you already know but, there's some GIANTS in that lake budd js.
@TheNorthFloridaAngler3 жыл бұрын
@@joecook1765 Back when I used to guide 300 days a year Rodman was my main place to fish. As for the damn area on the river side just about every year someone catches a 13 or a 14 lb. bass. It can get pretty crowded over there and I don't like to fish where it's elbow to elbow! As for artificial fishing I may do one in the future it's just that I'm so addicted to shiner fishing! I just love it! Also there's already so many videos out there of people catching bass on artificials! If I do one it will probably be on how to catch giant bass off the beds! I once guided a client to a 12.8 pounder caught off a bed using a plastic worm.
@joecook17653 жыл бұрын
@@TheNorthFloridaAngler Yea, nobody likes fishing around alotta people. That kinda defeats the purpose of a relaxing day on the lake, so totally get that. Well, i do love your videos. Keep up the good work budd. Maybe, just mayyybe I'll get up with you for a trip out next spring. No need to send your number, or tell me your prices, I'm already familiar lol. And, if all goes well i might take you out turkey hunting next spring. It's definitely different than bass fishing but, it's also a huge adrenaline rush. I can't really explain it. All i know is that I've never guided anyone who wasn't instantly hooked on it. Kinda like fishing for monster bass, it's not a passion, it's an obsession. A buddy of mine and myself also do guided gator hunts. Those are the 🔥 ticket right now. Gotta love some gator tail.
