Been experimenting with Rescue Hedgehog (you play 1 normal monster anyway) and the rose dragons together with the materiactors. Feels like a lot of material, just didn't yet find super good stuff to end on, but Coral Dragon/stardust charge warrior and the level 9 crocodile synchro do give some nice draws and can potentially be extended into Rank 6 or Synchro 12.

If you want hedgehog run avian as your normal so you can get boom mach rose dragons are not very good, though I wouldn't recommend hedgehog in general anyway

6:47 this is why goblin bikers suck btw. The literal only reason you are able to extend here is because the opponent happened to end on a XYZ. Them not having an extender without a garbage gimmick is so unbelievably bad for when your Tour Guide gets handtrapped or whatever.

@@jtalkalot19 Yeah. Some Materiactor with Goblin Biker, maybe some Phantom Knight and who knows what. R3 definitely doesn’t lack in Extra Deck cards at least (f.e there exist two monster negates, three or more archetypal ROTAs, and two alright otk tools). They really only lack extenders for more card advantage, which GB and now M cover next to older cards that easily generate an extra body, just not necessarily more beyond that, seem to nicely cover. Edit: they even have an unnegatable foolish burial with the BA link. Not to mention more generic things like the Armored Xyz and I believe ghosttrick package.

Simply use both they synergize beautifully well, but definitely simplify the materiactor part you only really need at most 1 expo 1-3 exa 1 counter trap and a vanilla goblins should still be the bigger focus

Goblins aren't even really the best at making rank 3s, they just have a really good payoff Unironically a materiactor vanilla seems like it'd be really good

They're the best general rank 3 engine just the archetypal goblin starters themselves are not as good as generic starters like tour guide and terrortop, they're still serviceable after the latest support just you prefer to access them in the middle of your combo rather than the start

I think this deck is better of without goblin bikers, because they are not really extenders. I would much prefer running more materiactors, handtraps and unexpected dai/primordial or terrortop

You still really want goblins as they massively increase your ceiling and are starters themselves just not good extenders apart from imprisonment which he's not playing for whatever reason. Also there literally aren't enough good materiactor cards to be running apart from the new monsters and the counter trap, gigadra and the continuous are pretty bad, primordial also don't work due to their lock

​@@Rhapsodyizz best is actually likely goblins with a small materiactor engine, something close to 1 expo 1-3 exa 1 vanilla 1 counter trap they're just extra starters, extenders and ceiling increase but any more than this is not worth it

@@jimtsap04 the primordial quick play doesn't lock you and I think the ceiling is high enough without goblin biker. You just play the deck more as a control deck with 15-18 handtraps and less as a combo deck

@@nico9912 true I didn't read the quick play correctly first so it is indeed a nonconditional extender so we may play that but probably still no dai, and from testing I regret to inform you the ceiling is incredibly low on their own, they really are best accessed in the middle of your combo rather than being both the start and end of it, besides even with goblins you can still fit a huge amount of handtraps there's little reason not to use them

@@Angels-Haven much smaller materiactor engine something like 1 expo 1-3 exa 1 vanilla(probably tempura) 1 counter trap, levirtue over torpedo, more goblins for whatever reason he's not playing the new goblin support which you need 1-2 of the level 6 and 3 of the quickplay, at least a second copy each dug and entrance for followup and most importantly, TERRORTOP THE BEST RANK 3 STARTER/EXTENDER EVER
