Sustainable Molokai - First Nations

Sust'ainable Molokai is a nonprofit grantee under First Nations Development Institute's Native Agriculture and Food Systems Initiative (NAFSI). First Nations' support was used to launch the Molokai Food Hub, which will give the Native Hawaiian farming community better access and control over its local food system. The Food Hub will help accurately manage orders and monitor product quality. Sust`āinable Molokai is a local, grassroots group formed to inspire youth and all Molokai residents to work toward a more sustainable future for the island. I enjoyed the time in Molokai in 2008, I spent 9 days there and will always have Molokai in my heart til I take my last breath. What you all are doing working together to be self sustainable in ways that achievable and manage your food supply while involving everyone! Fantastic, you are doing it!

Great video! I am so impressed and moved by the quality and passion of your work. I grew up on Molokai in Kipu, which sadly does not exist anymore. Keep telling our stories and I'll do my best to pass them along.

Aloha from da Main Land California what a fantastic job you folks are doing and I like to hear the Hawaiian Language as well some of the words i understand but I am Latin Kine with da Aloha Spirit Sifu Gabe Vargas
