After I ignored trying to get the combobox and subform linked and just went ahead and followed the code, everything worked out, so thanks for the lesson. I had to use the strCriteria in the Where clause rather than the filtername. I noticed that you had Dim srtDoc instead of strDoc in Print Sub not that it made any difference. Looking forward to going through Next part with two combos.

I want to try this multiple select by placing the combo and listbox on a different form while the customer subform remain on the customer main form. Example: I place the combo and listbox on another form called "frmStart". I plead your indulgence to find out how and where the VBA code changes will be logically and syntactically affected: Me.customer_subform.Form.RecordSource = strSql Will any other lines of code also going to be affected, in addition to the above scenario? Thank you for your time.

Hi, i tried to replicate this.after buying the search multiple fields database thinking it would be on their. I am getting stuck on the line of code under the search sub . Strcriteria = "state in " & tempvars!tempmultiselect I have not used tempvars before but the code is not picking up the states selected. Its fine filtering when usingnthe combobox only

sir i asked how to made auto generated report. an example like we show hide columns in access form. same if we make checkboxes or comboboxes and we select multiple choice columns what we need to generate a report without design mode. is it possible

You must create a report in Access and pass the information through the field you put in the report (dynamic report). Unless you are an expert in VB to generate report by VB
