That Purple Heart is an amazing find. The Veteran Affairs Office could help you find the veteran or the Veteran’s family that the medal belongs to. As a veteran myself and the mom of three veterans I would hope that if someone found one of our medals; I would hope that whoever found it they would return it to us

Thanks for spending the day hunting with us, Aaron and I had a blast hanging out with you guys! Was also great to have Justin and Jacob come along and make some finds, was awesome to see a beginner find his first old copper..👍Aaron does have some email's out and has done some research trying to find the owner of the Purple Heart Medal, but no luck so far. That was probably a copper wedding band. People back then couldn’t afford gold
