So glad you can find safe docking and anchoring options when the weather isn’t gods! I bet it was nice to see your grandpa and aunt…how wonderful to be able to see family and friends while traveling!

I love it when you face hard things and say, "It is what it is," then you accept it and move forward. Such good examples.

Totally agree, its so much easier to concentrate on the tasks at hand when when everything is tidy and in it’s place.

Thanks so much, Butch! Hopefully, we can connect sometime in the future; if all things pan out, we'll be visiting St. Pete area in a few months, so we'll reach out!

I love the Tampa Bay area. I've not been over much since I've been sick. Clearwater is such a pretty beach but its become so popular, it can often be hard to find a place to park your car. Another place I love to stay is the Pass-A-Grill area. Some lovely sunsets there. There is this nice little food and beverage shack that serves great food and drinks. Get one of their fantastic Cuban sandwiches then get several rounds of good craft brews or their awesome Margaritas! 🌇

So true regarding the popularity! Haven't heard of Pass-A-Grill , though, thanks for sharing!

In a single video Elliott has managed to be a Venetian gondolier and Humphrey Bogart in African Queen! 😆

Clearwater beach is one of our favorite beaches to watch the sunset on the deck at frenches. From mobile to alligator bay is one of the best seaside secrets.

I like that your dinghy has a Bimini. That seems like it would come in handy in hot weather. Love your channel.

Funny... that marina you stopped at in Dunedin is where Adventures In Paradise is slipped. In fact, I think I might have seen their boat in the background when you were talking about swiping that free shower. :)

Oh my absolutely love clearwater. Only place I really been to on the coast there and we went on a dolphin watch, and I didn't realize that the aquarium was there. Or are we to gone there too. It is a beautiful piece of God's creation.❤

What is the secret to paying for all of this? I think that is what stops many people from trying to do something like this.
@SchoandJo8 ай бұрын
There's no secret, and we do what we can to enable others to budget for this! We sell a budget calculator as well as release free expense reports so anyone can plan this journey. Outside of buying our boat, which was a budget boat, we spent right around 40k for this year's trip, including everything. We did it while working, and for two people, I think earning 40k a year is very reasonable and not out of the question for remote work. If you don't work and rent out your house, you could recover a significant portion of the 40k. Also, living on land isn't free, so you could subtract your normal yearly expenses when comparing it. All this being said, we recognize how lucky we are, but it is more achievable than most think.
