Thanks Matt, I enjoy these videos. I learn a lot. It's very beneficial to see how people from different places do things. When I was a kid, there was a teacher in the neighborhood that metal detected and I tagged along with him, he dug a gold pocket watch and a little 22 revolver with pearl grips. I would find Civil war items in our garden. I now understand that I am a treasure hunter at heart, in what ever context it presents it self.

Isn't that funny how things like this are just locked away inside until the smallest spark ignites the flame. that's why I think it is so important to develop passions and share them. I fear sometimes with the younger generation that cell phones have become the passion :(.

You're a great interviewer, you brought out answers to how he got started and even the painful yet joyous memory of his Dad. I love collecting coins too Patrick, it all started with my Dad. I love these interview videos, especially when the detectorists are teachers! So wish just one of my teachers understood my love of the hunt, thank goodness my Dad did! Another great video Gone Digging! Truly enjoyed! Thank you!
