Norm what a good time, When the bite slows try a wake bait in the choppy water. Thank you for taking time to show your fishing adventures.

Thanks Norm: nothing like a bud boat to get where the fish are. God bless

Much appreciated! Having a mud boat is a big advantage in these grassy Florida lakes.

Norm, great video, was this before the recent 40 degree weather at night. Can a glass boat get there, doesn't look like it could.
@NormGfishing5 күн бұрын
This was right before the big cold front. An outboard could not fish where I was fishing in this lake. The Hydrilla was too thick. However, the cold front will kill off much of the grass these next few months, and you will have no issues.

What are you calling "deep water bass" this time of year ? Great video. What was the water temp ?
@NormGfishing5 күн бұрын
Thank you. Deep water, in this lake was 5-6 feet. I do not recall the water temp on this trip.

Norm great video!!!! That huge one you lost was it on the swimbait or speed worm? You were 🐠 fishing it on top like a top water. Did it snap your 50lb, or 65lb braid? Don't feel terrible it could have been a snakehead to snap braid over 50 or 65lb braid. To make you feel better we will say it was a Carp or Snakehead. Lol. Snakeheads are fun though!!!!!!

Michael, that was on a 5 inch swimbait. Yes. That was a monster. Not sure what type of fish. But, it broke 40 pound braid like it was yarn. Thanks for the post!

this lake looks oddly familiar. if it's the lake i believe it is...the water is higher than I've ever seen it. i will not say the name, though 😂
