Good morning Vietnam! Today I search for a local food here in Vietnam called Com Tum and prepare to explore Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. If you guys have any recommendations or questions for me you can drop them in the comments section and I will get to them in my next video!

Pho Beef (Beef Pho), Pho Ga (Chicken Pho), Com Tam (Vietnamese Rice), Com Tam Xuong + Bi + Cha (Special Vietnamese Rice dish), Banh Xeo, Cha Gio, Goi Cuon, Banh Cuon, Banh Canh, ... those are some affordable dishes that you can try first. If your pocket is big enough, you can try Vietnamese Seafood. All Vietnamese foods are delicious, healthy, and cheap. They are way better than Thai, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian, and Lao foods. I lived and worked in East and Southeast Asia for over 17 years before I retired and moved back to the States to be near my grandchildren before we faced the pandemic.

So far the food here is amazing, thanks for all the recommendations I will give them a try soon! To be fair I love Thai and Korean food as well but Vietnamese food is also great! 🙏🏻😁

Dude i lived there in that street years ago, look up Thao Dien street maybe like 1km away from where you just eat, a lot expat chilling there

@@Jarod_Abroad i see alot people goes for cu chi tunnel(should sign up for a cheap tour there) and war museum(i seen a lot of tear from other vlogger) or go to ben thanh market to haggling some fake gucci it fun. I recommend these place because there a lot english speaker

You needed to pour some diluted fish sauce ( from the small bowl they gave you ) on the Com Tâm to enhance the flavor of that food .
