I had been struggling with grief over my mother's passing in 2019 and in may 2024 my father followed her. I have my husband and my daughters, but there's a huge piece of me that doesn't wanna stay here anymore. I am torn between guilty for feeling like this and absolute no will to go on. I have become a very good actress. It's easier telling this to a bunch of strangers on the internet. I tried therapists, but they abandoned me after the first session. So thank you, John, for being here

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. I wish you peace and healing. There's nothing wrong with what you feel, it's only a natural part of grief. I recently had a dream that I was forced with magnets to perform for an audience while I was grieving, hiding it behind a jovial manner. It sounds like you're going through something similar. It also sounds like you had terrible therapists, and I hope you find a much better one soon. I've had therapists/professionals abandon me as well. Maybe it would be worth talking to your husband about what you're going through; although I don't know him, I feel he'd probably understand.

My dear - I passed your comment to John and he replied: "Dear friend - for some of us, grief can be activated by, but is for much more than the loss of a beloved person. Psychological therapy doesn't really always help for it comes from deep, instinctive knowing that we, humanity, are all in the same boat. We are not at home. The answer is, of course, returning home - the process of coming home to undying, eternal life in heaven. May God bless your journey home." Phil

I'm so sorry😢 I can relate so much to what you have said, my mom passed in 2020 and I feel like I haven't been the same since, I have a husband and 3 kids so I have to be strong for them but some days it's so hard to even get out of bed. 😢 I am praying for you dear friend. You are not alone ❤

As always so peace bringing, your words, John. Thank you. Inspired, I wrote this: ~ Beyond Beyond all that is seen is unseen Beyond the visible is invisible Beyond the sound there’s silence Beyond the furthest star is beyond Go beyond Every thought Every sight Every sound There will be beyond Unchanging Witnessing Still You are It Lots of love to you John, and Phil. ❤ Sylwia

My Nana came up against this problem. When my uncle was killed in World War 2, she used to say get on with the living and forget about the dead. She suddenly must have thought that one moment. When my young friend was killed in a car crush and I blamed myself. I went to work the next day and got on with the living and forgot about the dead. Some thought I was cold, but it was what I was taught to do by Nana. The dead would not want you to be unhappy?

Didn’t Jesus say “Let the dead bury their dead.” Come to think of it … how can that be? Phil

On a more serious note. TM is all the rage among Hollywood celebrities, which I'm sure is why they love this guy. But if you do a little Google searching (and you should) you'll find the only one who actually benefitted from it was the con man who founded it. Namely, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It made him a multi-multi-millionaire. Total con artist. Don't fall for it. Peace out.
