As an R.O.V PILOT tether management is key. If you have hands to help keep your tether tight but not tight to the surface. We use footpedals to our t.m.s to regulate the tether. Top bloke, no digs here, just trying to help. Love everything you do.

I'm not an expert but id imagine that would've helped stop him from panicking as much and also being able to navigate some of the things he wanted too with less fear of getting tangled on himself and branches. I hope he does some cool dives with this in the future with your advice!

@tehBlackouTT7 ай бұрын
@@Hayden____ sulfur is heavier than oxygen and won't rise higher than 2atmospheres (~30ft) in most cases hence the heavy seperation at depth during the dive. The bubbles are from scuba most likely. You see it in alot of caves here in Florida

Very cool Jordan! However, I have a few things! As a very experienced technical cave diver, with 29+ years experience. You really absolutely should not be entering this cavern without your cavern certifications. Better yet, you really should get your cave diver certs and get some experience with professionals that do this daily. Cave reels and proper lighting with training is a must. My family has two different companies in North Central Florida that do cave research, water testing, etc. We also unfortunately get called for body recoveries in caves and caverns. All too often, people want to push a little farther until they get into a situation where they can't get out. Please don't become a statistic. Also the layer that you are noticing at around 70 feet that looks like a halocline is actually a Hydrogen Sulfide layer mixing into the water. If you can find it, at around 135 feet, there is a small john boat that is partially covered in silt and buried in the sediment on the bottom. It is sometimes able to be seen. The drone footage is awesome! Looking forward to more! Awesome job!

Brandon, that was pretty interesting, to bad the pressure blew out the light. Reef was amazing and a good boy looking at those manatea(?) He looks so adorable when he is drying off. The camera work and drone shots in the sky and below were spectacular. You be safe and take a buddy if you dive that hole, you hear. Love and Peace.

As a water well contractor that was cool to see the inside of the lime rock like that. Those giant holes are what’s allowing the water in from the aquifer to feed that body of water.

The light you saw was a reflection of your drone's headlights. There is air trapped in that hole so there is a space where the surface water reflects back your head lights. Or at least the rock above at the top of that hole was reflecting back the headlights.

Fellow sub droner here! Always look for the tether when you’re lost…and just follow it up. It’s neutrally buoyant so it won’t “sink”, but can get wedged around stuff.

Hospital Hole IS a spring. I read that the reason for it's name is because this particular spring emits lithium (like Lithia Springs) and lithium makes you feel better. It's an antidepressant. Weeki Wachee River is full of small springs. You can learn to spot them as you kayak up the river.
