We used to go about once a year. we got into Honolulu. one night around 10 and they’re having a block party on wiki Boulevard and it was going for Miles bands and just one big party fireworks on the on the beach that’s the best place to watch fireworks. Man, that brings back some memories. I got my first car in Hawaii at 15, and it's a 69 chevelle. My dad begged me to let him sell it, and he would get me another car when we got back to Alabama, I refused because it was my dream car for as long as I could remember. So he ship it to San Francisco, and I drove it from there to North Alabama in 1988. The most I had ever driven it was on the Airforce base that we lived on, so I was broken in good by the time we arrived in Alabama. I still have the car, and I could never sell it because of all the memories I've had with it.Thanks for bringing back so many awesome memories.

Mooneyes moved from Liliha to Kaimuki den.....With no strip due to "politics and $$$$$$$$$$$$$" alot of owners go attend car cruises/shows at shopping malls and even parades that pass thru Ala Moana and Waikiki. Its so good to be there to watch them have fun and support the automotive industry while we wait FOREVER for a decent safe track!

My Parents went on their honeymoon to Hawaii back in late 1970's I have seen lots of pictures and stories and have a couple things made from Lava on the Island they are so cool. It is on my Bucket list to see the Islands and I really want to go to Pearl Harbour and check out the the Arizona Memorial I have family who served in the war and have to pay my respects.

I'm a Mopar guy but been around big block chevy and they have a major flaw is their valve train and breaking rockers ask anyone with a big block chevy with aftermarket valve train and have a racing high lift heavy springs the rockers break like nothing you can just fire the car up and back it out of the garage and snap there goes a rocker so if you have a chevy big block make sure you carry rocker arms with you because your going to need them.

We visited mooneyes when I was there. Was in O'ahu over Christmas and New Years stayed at the Queen Kapiolani hotel on Waikiki Beach facing Diamond head right where all the partying was going on in your video. We visited the zoo right next to the hotel at base of diamond head. We went to Pearl Harbor, and visited all the memorials including the Arizona close to Ford Island. Visited Da kline bail bonds office where Dog the bounty hunter worked out of. Seen a lot of familiar sites in your video takes me back. We also walked right along the ocean side where the had the bars up at the drop off and water lapping sides of shore. We did the shop thing looked at all the offerings. Did you guys get any of the pineapple coconut shrimp when there, besides the mai tais. Also was in the North shore area on other side of diamond head. I have to get back there someday you would like it their for a short time but you would get board pretty quick selling all your cars wouldn't be cool because you guys have to keep moving with your hair on fire to be happy. It's the memories in these places of have fun you'll always remember and going back but if you moved their it would not be the same as a great vacation spot. I liked it when I was there but wouldn't want to live there it's an island. Things were expensive when I was there. Some things are not bad but so many things come in from the mainland.

All these new cars sure they are faster than the classics but I don't care how much HP these new cars have because the new cars have no soul like the classics and there is no modern engine today that sounds good compared to the classics. I can't stand the sound of a LS or third gen Hemi you put them up to a bone stock 340 or 350 small block they don't compare and then the big blocks have their own sound that nothing can touch or come close to the sound of a big block
