As impressive as the whole machine is its the little details that do it for me. Honestly that hatch opening was such a minor detail but the fact you went to the effort of making that hindged joint was simply amazing.

I have my Sbrick at 14.5volts using 4s lipo. Speed and power are great. Its a big improvement over stock and drive ability is way better. Nice job dude awesome truck

Amazing creation! But... why, with such amount of torque, is the speed so "bumpy"? You can clearly see how it doesn't drive smoothly, even in straight line without any load

Directly? Not a good idea, as you'll quickly discover if you try it. I would have used a motor with a linear actuator if I had room for it. But I didn't.

I bet lego can make a lot more profit if they make sets of sariel's vehicles, i mean, i like technic, but i don't really care about the simple stuff (not that i dont like it), but i do like the complicated, big sets with a lot of gears and so on. And sariel's vehicles are the kind of vehicles i like to build and i would happely buy all these (this and other models of sariel) if they were official lego sets for a reasonable price

This model looks very cool, so don't get me wrong. I doubt 535 has much different suspension than 537. I am sure it's very difficult to create all in so small chassis, which I experienced too. Even with pendular axles it drives realistic. I like steering and roof hatch also. Did you used 2 or 4 XL engines finally?
