Sears Suburban 12 tired engine swap pt1

5 years of running this tractor, and the reliable as ever Tecumseh is finally too tired to carry on, so temporary swapping in another one in the hopes of keeping my tractor going while I source parts and a shop to machine it if necessary.
This is my first video, and I thank you for watching, quality will improve or ill burst into flames.

I just happened to run across your video. (Yep, I subscribed). I had a ST12 Sears, 1974, that had that knock. It turned out the connecting rod was loose. I tightened it. It came loose again. I tried new connecting rod and bolts. Never would stay tight. Then I messed up and sold it. Now, I have a ST16 that is beyond rough. I've got a few videos on it. Everything was stuck from the engine to the seat. I'll be watching. Doc

I have a 69 suburban 12, just put a new carb on it. It runs great now. Also have a 16 with onan engine, i hope to look it over this winter.
