I had to laugh at your "tickle" comments. Stuart, you never cease to amaze me. Your paintings are always spectacular and this one does not disappoint. You always teach me something in your videos, but I have just learned more about painting in this video alone than I have from 50 other artists. Thank you! Painting is such a joy in today's seemingly joy-less world. I'll keep painting and hopefully, you will too so I can see the beauty of your paintings and learn in the process.

Wow Stewart, that in my opinion is the BEST sky I've seen you do (I love seascapes yes...) I'm very glad I'm not out at sea in a boat if that were a sunrise, considering the old adage, "Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning, red skies at night, sailors delight..." talking about drama!! And the water on the beach and the sea is really VERY beautiful.... I'm all fired up! Oh, and if you wanted a sinister cliff, look no further! lol

I live on The Gower Peninsular and this reminds me of Great Tor on South Gower. When you came back at the end, I laughed as you added to it to make it even more like Great Tor. Obviously it's not a photographic representation, says he not wanting to tic you off, but I think it is recognisable. Thank you for an excellent painting that I may well try to copy.

Stuart, I recently found your work on-line and I've enjoyed your approach, not only the composition/painting techniques, but also your willingness to share what you've learned. Regarding this current seascape, I'd hoped that you would have added more of a mist/fog to the cliff face. I believe that the power of an imposing rock face is due to both the hint of the escarpments that at times are faded into only a suggestion of their rugged power. I hope that a future video will include more work on this wonderful painting. Stay safe, keep healthy and please keep painting! I'm a fan of your work!

Nice demo Mr. Davies. Yesterday after watching one of your videos I mentioned how your sky’s reminded me of Turner only to watch this video and find out he’s obviously one of your favorite artist. Lol. I particularly enjoyed you commentary in this one. You brought up the question of how do you know when I painting is done? Being an artist myself I too have been asked this question often. My answer…. “When someone asks how much do you want for it?” 😁
