Purchased the pattern and just finished the bulky version. Wife loves it! Was quite easy to do but had to remove the ribber as you really need access to move weights and hold down on those center stitches as you complete each shell. Love the final 8-stitch icord! I am going to use that on other projects now! I can see that on cuffs and necklines...

So glad to hear the wife loves it! Yes, I always take the ribber off for things like this. In fact, mine is off right now. For a while I was obsessed with the wide I-cords. Currently, I'm obsessed with hems! Stay posted, John!

Oh, I just love that icord at the top! I bet you could use that all the way around a tuck stitch blanket and it would be stunning, Would you have to do something different around the corners if you were to try that? Thanks SO MUCH for this tutorial!

I have used this edging a lot, but not gone around corners. You might want to swatch first. You would crowd the edging around the corners, that is, put a lot more rows of edging just before and after the corner. It is so wide, though, that it may not lie flat even with crowding. You can butt the corners instead, if you want.

That is adorable! Wish it was lacy. Can it be made lacy? Also, just an FYI: the headset mic is not working. Picks up too much of your breathing, so blows out when you make sounds like Bs and Ps.

You cannot use a lace carriage with needles in hold. You could use the ravel cord method of short-rowing lace, but I think it is too much work for this approach. Also, I've stopped using that microphone, never could get the sound just right.

I do not know. You should ask a dealer. I think an Empisal 321 is an older machine, perhaps before the LC2 accessory.
