Seasmoke was in fact ridden by a Targaryen. Laenor was born from a Targaryen mother. As dragons don’t check last names or ask for marriage contracts, I’m assuming that his connection to Seasmoke is inherent. It’s in his magical blood.

He has Targaryen blood but he's not a Targaryen himself, he's a Velaryon. Either way he has Valyrian blood so he's able to dragonride. Makes him the first Velaryon Dragon Rider in their house, and places them somewhat up there as a new Valyrian Dragonlord family, like the Targaryens. I'm assuming since Rhaenys had a Dragon of her own, Meleys, and was a Targaryen, she was able to ask for a Dragon Egg for her son from her family.

He's his brother from another clutch of eggs. If I'm not mistaken, Dreamfyre is Seasmoke's mother. Dreamfyre's also the mother of Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal. The resemblance between them all is uncanny.

Their growth is relative to their environment and the space available, exercise, as well as food intake. So… a dragon who gets to roams free, hunt his food, and eat to his heart’s content will be bigger than a dragon that is kept in an enclosed area.

I don’t certainly believe that Adam of Hull is the son of Laenor but it makes far more sense than Corlys because Corlys doesn’t have dragon blood so unless Adams mother has the dragon blood Laenor is the father

According to the books, the rumor was that Adam of Hull was actually Corlys' bastard son. He lied about him being Laenor's bc Rhaenys (Corlys' wife) wouldn't take kindly to the fact that her husband fathered a bastard.

Laenor's mother was a dragonrider, Meleys was her dragon. Meleys was called "The Red Queen." I assume because she had laid eggs. I always thought that Seasmoke was born from one of Meley's eggs, just like Laenor was born from her rider. Just my thoughts.

Caraxes is straight up bad*** for sure and although not as pretty as Sunfyre, SeaSmoke or Dreamfyre (if like the book) it doesn’t matter because he is a dragon after all! I love the way the writers gave him more of a chirp like sound because of his stretched neck and his slithering movements really adds to his unique design! You can tell he’s a fearsome beast and very deadly plus having one of the closest bonds with a rider compared to other dragons/riders

@@Light-ib7fg vhagar, *SPOILER ALERT* but very shortly because she dies in childbirth, then daemons (Matt smith) twin/nephew Aemond (ewan mitchell) bonds with vhagar, you think daemon is a loose cannon wait till you see aemond the one eye, his gonna be a problem, both actors look alike and their characters are so similar it's ironic they both die above the gods eye along with both their dragons, also fun fact , aemond the one eye is rumoured to be son of daemon not viserys because daemon supposedly sleeps with allicent hightower, so they possible were father and son, makes sense why they are so alike.

*My* *Favorite* *GOT/HOT* *D* *Dragons* 1. Drogon 2. Caraxes 3. Syrax 4. Seasmoke 5. Rhaeghal (had the dumbest death) 6. Viserion So far, I've seen Drogon the most and he's still #1 for me even though I'm not the biggest fan of his mother but I don't actually hate Daenerys. I hated her brother more. Drogon still looks cooler than Caraxes. But I do love Caraxes' temperament similar to his rider's. And according to Reddit fans, Caraxes is the 3rd greatest dragon behind Balerion and Vhagar. When you want ferocious, you choose Caraxes. The more I see Blood Wyrm, the more he can move up. But seeing Caraxes' belly from the recent episode made me turned off by his design. From the three dragons from the 17 we'll see in this series, I think Seasmoke looks the best so far. His color was like camouflage in the clouds and fog/smoke/smog. Love the shape of his head. I can't wait when we get to see BIG GIRL that Laena mentioned. I would like to see a very green dragon 🐲 for once. I also want to see a golden dragon like Sunfyre. The Battle Above The Gods Eye between Vhagar/Aemond vs. Caraxes/Daemon should be the series finale. Balerion would actually be my favorite if we're talking books here. Balerion is the GOAT. Some are asking, did Daemon catch grey scale since he was holding Crabfeeder's wrist? But Daemon has Targaryen blood exceptionalism. Dragon riders don't die from diseases.

In retrospect, Houses Targyrian and Velaryon have intermarried so much, especially by this point, they are almost one family. When Targyrian's don't marry their own direct relatives, Velaryons are their first choice. And this close mingling may be why Adam was able to claim Seasmoke, as Velaryons have so much targyrian blood now, be it from Laenor or Corlys.

I really want them to add Cannibal to the show with an actual part! That doesn’t mean they need to change anything about him like giving him a rider or something dumb because the whole idea that he’s completely wild is really cool but they should incorporate him into a battle or 2 like going after another dragon after it’s wounded or accidentally being disturbed by a separate dragon battle thus disturbing his slumber or something IDK I really want to see Cannibal on screen! I really like the idea of there being at least one dragon that’s wild & untamed because it devours anyone brave enough to try to come close!

My question would be how Seasmoke bonds to Adam if he is Corlys' son. If Laenor is a Rider thanks to his mothers blood, Adam would have to be from that lineage, too. Its possible for gay persons to ahve kids after all ;) Following your line of thought Adam would ahve to be Laenor's or Laena's bastard, should he truly be Velayron that is

Corlys likely has targ blood as well. The targs and velaryons have been intermarrying since before aegon's conquest. Even if corlys isn't a targ, that still shouldn't mean adam wasn't his son. For one, it's highly unlikely that his gay son laenor fathered a bastard. It makes sense to have sex with a woman due to marriage. Why would he sleep with a common woman when he didn't have to? Then there is the fact that grrm never stated that the targs are the only ones who could ride dragons. He deliberately kept it a mystery. For instance, ulf, hugh hammer and nettles were all dragonriders and none of them were proven to be of targ blood. There's probably much more to dragon bonding than the current theory which is that the valyrians bonded with dragons using some dark magic. We might discover all this later.
