There are food, weather, and assorted movie channels to name, yet it's disheartening current television providers haven't featured a single cable channel that exclusively broadcast vintage medical series such as Dr. Kildare, Ben Casey, Marcus Welby MD, and so on :-( There are several classics released from the 50s' to the 90s,' yet it's a crying shame there are only available on Boxed DVDs and haven't been shown on television for a very long time. Such a shame indeed.

These shows are about a decade and a half before my time, but I would love to see them! I love the feel of 50s and 60s TV. Thankfully, a lot of the treasured shows from my own childhood - like Wonder Woman, Buck Rogers, and Charlie’s Angels - are available to stream, but I’m so disappointed there’s no Dynasty!

As for my medical knowledge, I have an M.D. and suffered under residents and attendings as dickish as this one, and while I haven’t had a loved one in any of the units you mentioned, I have actually done rotations through all but the CVICU. As for COVID, I’m not sure what relevance that has to the topic at hand, but I did have it twice, the first time acquired before vaccinations were available after a dental appointment, during which I could not be masked, and the second time two months after my fourth jab; sequencing confirmed it was the BA-4 Omicron subvariant. I advocated strongly for vaccination and other preventive measures as a case investigator/contact tracer for three years during the pandemic. You seem to have made an awful lot of assumptions about who I am based on nothing. As for my assumptions, well, based on your hostility and defensiveness, I’ll indulge myself in an assumption that you’re one of the aforementioned dickish residents or attendings. Thank God I don’t have to deal with such people anymore. Have a nice day 😁.

I always loved R. Chamberlain since I discovered him in the Thornbirds and I'd love to have the complete series of this but why it is so expensive (close to $300) while it was in the 60's???? I don't understand that. It would cost $120, ok, I would buy it but $300? NO WAY.
