As someone that really vibes with the season's theme, this bp is horrendous. I liked the power rangers content, but then they force these lifeguard/summer things in it, only half the theme's skins are earnable on the BP and that pisses me off, another wrecking ball free skin, another ana skin not obtainable on the BP and i have to pay. I was so excited for this season's theme but blizzard wiped their ass with it almost as if they did not even had faith in this season, so much so thay had to get desperate with lifeguard skins. This season just SCREAMS filler content and that pisses me off so much because that's something I am really passionate about

They really cut staff in the art department, right? I dont care _that_ much for cosmetics, but god. The battlepass hasnt contained a single item ive wanted since... what was before moira? I didnt get hanzo. Maybe Illiari's pass. Maybe not even. Its not even the skins really. I think maybe its that when i look at a battlepass its 80 levels of shit with 5 real skins, then all this bloat of crap noone cares for. Get souveniers up on outta here. Get charms up on outta here. Change monetization from heros to exclusively premium weapon skins (that way they can reach the whole demographic). And make regular skins a mixture of premium and earnable. But more than anything, give that goddamn lucio weapon inspect. Do something other than these empty character potrait highlight intros.

The reason why I push the cosmetics so much is because now that PVE has been officially cancelled, the cosmetics are the only content the game has going for it.

@@shadezOW Cosmetics really shouldnt be considered content. We should be looking for new gamemodes, heroes, and maps. Something like fleshing out the workshop with actual effects and a map editor would be amazing.

Roadhog intro, cute, love it. Little dino charm is cute and I'd use it. Mauga skin I like, will use. Hammond skin is okay, might use it. Genji skin, meh. 'Calamity Sovereign' title is awesome, will use it. Overall sub-par for sure but still worth just for the mythic prisms. Junkrat items are always wasted pass spots.

I think you underestimate how much people play this game. Also, compared to other battle passes (which will be highlighted in my new video dropping this weekend) this is a shorter bp than many and still has lots of fillers.

Because of all of sprays and voicelines, those should actually be accessible without the battle pass. I say this because in my eyes, they aren't worth much.

It’s crazy that the free overwatch credits tiers used to come with something extra to justify the spot, but now they’re too low on stuff to add to even do that. You could’ve justified the zen and genji emote/victory poses by either putting them together in one tier since they’re the same, or just throw them in as the bonus rewards that come with the free credits so that it felt somewhat less cheap.

…. 1: all the anime Sentai skins are trash. This is genji’s 3rd sentai skin, the other two he has are much better looking and one of them is just a recollection of the other one. The rest of the sentai skins are garbo besides maybe Ana or cass. Even then, both of them have better skins. The best skin in this battle pass is for sym. Very good skin for epic tier. 2: the patch is honestly good. I like most of the changes, orisa didn’t need the buff but that’s ok. People are gonna complain about sym getting buffed and all I’m gonna say is… she needed it. She still gets hard countered by echo and pharrah so don’t complain really. Tanks are gonna hate this patch when Mauga gets nerfed and that’s good. It’s come to most people’s attention that when the tanks are super good and powerful, no one has fun (sometimes including tanks), when the tanks are mediocre or we’re in a heavy anti tank meta like this patch has introduced, tanks don’t have fun. And this would likely be mitigated by A SECOND TANK, but if we’re stuck in this, I rather have tank feel terrible than overpowered. If you don’t like it don’t play tank. Maybe blizzard will learn from that. Overall; this season is meh. I’m gonna play it because I’m a sym main and this makes me have more fun. But other than that, the mid season patch needs to buff hanzo and fix LW and then I’m eating.

Tanks arnt overpower thats the thing they just have no middel ground if you counter pick them you insta die as Tank if your team plays there 1 tricks and dont counter pick they dont die . Then there is also basicly just 3 viabel tanks anyways . Roadhog , Orisa , Mauga they nerf Roadhog Orisa Mauga is back if they buff orisa mauga and Roadhog is bad . Tanks cant be saved im 5v5 . Blizzard doesnt admit ever if they are wrong so Overwatch will just be a side game from now on

They should do a while battlepass rework. Now they've made mythics unexclusive, the highlight intros and icons are rarer than the mythic skins 💀 If they are keeping the mythic shop, there should be designated spots in the battlepass where you can get a "voice line ticket" or "highlight intro ticket" to purchase any battlepass highlight intro/voice line/icon/player card (depending on your ticket).

If they opted to give Sojourn a visor instead of the bug eyes, the skin might have been passable... The Hog skin is arguably the best, and it's $40... I'd love to have it, just not for that price. The Mercy recolor is too ketchup and mustard...

Honestly I was not planning on subbing...but then you mentioned the finals despite (seemingly) not making the finals content so I knew you were a real one, also funny how you say the finals spoil us when lots of the fans say season 3 battle pass was disappointing. Which is ironic since they also have a Sentai themed skin but since all skins are individual parts you could toggle the helmet off. So really does put things into perspective

@@shadezOW true but in all honesty I pretty sure most people playing the finals didn't have to experience overwatch's "enjoy half the battle pass (specifically the good half) being shop exclusive " so I guess that kinda explained it somewhat Edit: also unless overwatch does a Valkyria chronicles crossover, which I doubt since even fortnite probably won't and fortnite has almost ever media represented, I probably won't actually play overwatch...which is funny because the only reason I got back into the finals was because I saw the season 3 battle pass while looking for people's reaction to overwatch season 11 bp 😂

I think what makes this more painful is you have games like GW2 that took the battlepass concept and did better than every other game (it even has good 5v5 pvp for an mmo which is amazing) and Blizz actively has copied so much from GW2 lately in WoW that why not do it with OW2

As a huge fan of both power rangers and Kamen Rider i kinda like the skins in the battle pass. The sojourn skin you loathe is so classic Kamen rider coded its beautiful. The genji skin is also sick af b them using eyelashes to make a v fin is amazing. As a non toku fan i guess i see why you wouldn't love it as much

I think the skins in Overwatch 2 are better then The Finals because all the costumes and outfits in The Finals doesn't have physics and clips through your character. The issue for me with the Battle Pass is the theme and lack of theme based Cosmetics. I do agree though The Finals give you a great deal on the Starter Pack and the Battle Pass.

The new skins are great you just have literal 0 good taste. Anyway, all the skins are still way to over priced and this battle pass is still full of awful looking reskins. Glad I stopped buying these after the fist couple of seasons.
