HELL YES! The cast and crew have been paying attention to the criticism to improve for season 2 and 3. They WANT do do a good job, and they WANT to improve and I know the rest of the show will be better because of that. I actually LOVED the first season personally as a fan of the original cartoon. Can't wait to see the rest of this awesome story!

Book 1 of the animated series is also the worst of the three books. Book 2 is a lot more linear with longer arcs and I think will be much easier to adapt. Plus you will have a more seasoned, mature cast, Toph, and hopefully better writing if they are open to the criticism they received. Basically everything points to Season 2 and 3 just being flat out better, I'm excited

I have told people that so many times if the animated series ended after season 1 and we didn't get a 2 or 3 nobody would really remember this show it would be in the back of our minds wondering what happened to that show that was aired on Nickelodeon about that Avatar boy whatever happened to it it's because of 2 and 3 is why the show is so beloved

Yep that's kind of what I was thinking in the video. It feels like season 2 and 3 has so much potential to build on from season1. Plus there's lots of learnings from season 1 they can take to improve. And yeah I actually really like the fortune teller episode. That was the 1st time we heard Tophs voice actress as well, voicing meng. I like the little easter egg to it they included in the live action though, at least we had that.

Can't see 12 happening but 10 feels possible. Originally 10 episodes for season 1 was the rumour, IMDB even had 10 episodes listed but somewhere down the line it changed to 8.

Oh sweet there going to bring season 2 & 3 in the live action. Toph is going to be introduce I really hope that she will still have her tom boy attitude. I'm not sure how much things from the animation version that they will bring to the live action version. I did write down some notes from season 1 basically what's similar between the two version and the difference between the two. Of course I have to watch season one of the animations version.

Yeah I know some didn't like that Ozai got more screen time but I really like how he was portrayed. It feels like there are more layers to him in the live action. My favourites were Zuko and Sokka.

Toph! Toph! Toph! She has to be made correctly no excuses for my favorite character! There’s no need to change her. Changing Bumi completely had me pissed to be honest. Like first season is mid for me it was good, so I have high expectations for 2 and 3. Some of changes either I liked it or I straight up hated it. Idk please just don’t be good I need it to be great. If they have the budget there’s no excuses for bad quality. I need the writing to definitely improve. The visuals were great but I just didn’t connect to the characters like I do in the animated series. The writing has to flow!

I love the live-action series ... LOVE IT !! Each time I went back & rewatched the shows (4-5 times now), I'd found even more reasons to love it. My only complaint is that there're only 8 episodes !!

Yeah, I've rewatched it a whole bunch as well. I definitely feel like some things do get better the more you watch it. I really like rewatching the last episode where aang drops into the water after the Katara says she needs him and then he rises back out of the water with the classic Avatar Spirit music. Defo feel like I want more than 8 episodes as well 😉

Not yet, most of the big Netflix series take 2 years from the 1st season to drop the next season. So my thinking is either later 2025 or similar time to now in 2026 for season 2 then season 3 in 2027. I expect they'll get as much filming done this year as possible though, due to the aging of Gordon and Kiawentiio

There is no a negative side If they messed it up we had to say instead of pretending that show was good it wasn’t okay the trailers were good and that’s is… How can you guarantee a better season 2? Season2 of ATLA is more matured than the first season and has major character developments than the first season. I’m not writing it off but if I’m going to see it’s because I love ATLA. Just to corrected your misinterpretation of what I said. Criticism by definition is negative. I didn't say there shouldn't be any criticism though, I simply said if you live on that side still try to keep an open mind. And I didn't guarantee season 2 will be better, unfortunately I can't see the future. I simply said it has potential to be even better. for sure though, everyone should be honest and open about how they feel. As you say though, by no means should you just like something because someone else likes it, listen to what form your own opinion!

I did not want to critique the show either Netflix made me and I’m sorry I’m not open to a Season 2 drama I did the same for the first season kept an open mind and I could get from Netflix is good music and visuals I can’t do same now. Mayb you should do a video explaining how the changes made by Netflix had a good effect on the show there’s a lot of videos out there but they just tell I like this change but they don’t tell u why neither do they tell how it is beneficial to the story. Cuz honestly I don’t know anything about story telling or cinema but if tell you how Avatar became my favourite you will know why I’m more angry.

seems pretty definitive that they're only doing a season 2 and 3 but you never know, if season 2 does amazing they might split season 3 in to 2 seasons. That or they might just increase to 10 episodes.

season one was alot like the cartoon as in it was meh. the cartoon season one and the live action had to cram a lot of story into it. i said it every since they announced it. all they have to do in the live action is just be good. imo, they did that. now they can get to the epic that is season 2 and 3. i have no doubt all the haters are going to eat their words when we get to the seasons that really made the show great. i enjoyed season one but im betting 2 will be epic and world changing

I honestly find the Avatar franchise kind of hard to watch because of its wild, ravenous reputation. They claim it's mathematically flawless and the single greatest piece of media mankind has ever made or will ever make, and that if you don't like it, there's something wrong with you as a person.

That's ok, you don't have to like something because everyone else does. You should watch it and decide for your self if you like it. Personally I think it's the best animated series I've ever seen and some parts of that are simply because when I watch it as an adult it reminds me so much of my childhood and the memories I had when I watched it as a kid. Plus I really appreciate the underlying stories and how deep they are watching as an adult. Not too many animations or cartoons you can say that about.
