Do not berserk cancel anymore your berserk gets bugged and will not gain the haste, lifesteal, grit cancel can also happen when you berserk out of stun (you can tell by the animation) then just switch weapon to let berserk CD roll

Yeah that sucks. You get damage but not interruptible, haste, lifesteal. On stun it's auto so it super sucks. Apparently the guy who built the animation doesn't work their anymore so they don't know any other way around it. Hatchet is far from dead, the buffs are slept on. I'd say for GS it's worse because enchanted ward mitigates left click, but SNS is supreme

Hey man, I’m new to the new world as well as to your channel, I wanna main Hatchet already made my mind, but the secondary great weapon I’m not sure yet, I’m a veteran in other mmos since 11yo now I’m 34, the question is can I get based on this build from early game and start building up the skills and etc as I go ? I already noticed that the berserk skill do not runs passively on other weapons anymore, reason why I wanna main it. Thanks you got a new sub !! 👊🏼

@@Whelps probably that’s what imma do, until late game if I decide to go rank flail and healer or flail and SnS. I love tanks or daggers, reason why I liked so much the hatchet over all. Thanks mate

I love this build. I don't know why but coming from a bow playstyle with spear or rapier, this felt a lot easier to get used to than the SnS/Spear build I was trying. Thanks for the info man!

so how would i go about using this though? any rhythm to it? like my spear SnS build is, sweep, roll, perf, roll, skew, ligh attack a few times in between each if possible then have SnS for disease and bash, rush, leap, to close gaps or stun so i can heal.. or with the GS hatchet do you kinda just use abilities as you go? i tried to pay attention but it was too much for me to really see if there was any specific method? still learning PvP so anything helps! this will def be my next build, ive already tossed together some shop items just to get it going until ive got enough seals to roll

Hey Whelp, I'm not sure if you had a chance to play with the Gladiator Artifact Round Shield in this past PTR, but do you think if its possible to put "Burning Smite" Perk in that shield since it's already has Shield Bash and Shield Rush Perks on it?

How much damage will u lose if u go 300 con instead? I am looking at it as a light bruiser. I see 8k crits but will it drop to lower than 5 ? Flamethrow fs gave me ptsd

A decent amount considering you're losing scaling and milestones(?). But just go grit ward I guess

What are your thoughts of not running serenity, and instead, using 200 str/250 dex or 250 str/200 dex for even more damage?

Either 250/200 or 200/250 would be less damage than 350str. YES the scaling is better when both stats are equal, BUT the 150dex Milestone does nothing for you, and 250 dex is also pretty useless compared to either 300 or 350 Strength Milestones (only 200dex Milestone is good, but only by a meager 3% conditional compared to 350 strength). Its better scaling, but you lose way more damage because you dont get the Strength Bubbles/Milestones passives. Only time its better to go Equal Str/Dex, is when you go 300/300 for both. Either way, why change Serenity?

@@Chris____. because you can’t get to those attribute levels with serenity and another artifact. Also, 200 dex perk is really good, and you would be getting more damage out of the greatsword. Also, I’m not convinced serenity is BIS for PvP considering how hard it is to land heavy attacks

Does it make a difference in pvp experience between high ping and low ping? I’m playing at sutekh with average 170ping. Opr is a nightmare for me.

Of course it does, but it's a bit negligible especially if you are a melee player. If you are using ranged, you can notice about 0.5s delay from your actual attack to its release projectile.

I would absolutely not play hatchet with that ping, you will have huge trouble landing autos. Hatchet is the most ping dependent weapon. Ask whelps even he will tell you not to play hatchet over like 70-80 ping

@@bomback6766 I play flail/shield and spear. Logged in yesterday and saw my ping averaging 290-300ms. I think I should quit NW now. I even died to mini bosses due to lag spike up to 4000ms.

hi bro How do you heal +5k with 1 dodge? 1.5% * 5 pieces = 7.5% you have 15884 life, that is, that would be 1,191 life then there are 250 of each piece = 1250 then the Ankh is + 25% 1250+1191 = 2441 + 25% = 3,051, right?

What do you think of a heavy armor GS build with 300str 100dex 200cons. Would you play with hatchet or sword and shield in that case? And whatdç defensive perks would you run on a Heavy Armor build; Elem. Aversion, enchanted ward, Girit ward (for 300+ cons)?

Go for SNS or flail if u want utility, both hace good engage AND defense, farm woodgrain set AND combine, some elemental aversión, enchanted ward AND health, but i recommend u to run invigorated aswell to reduce rends AND weakens, run plagued strikes on SNS or the serenity if ir Lets u put the perk, use stoneform or cannon so u combo heales AND one shot them

You can't have refreshing and plagued strikes or enchanted ward and elemental aversion on the same piece, but you should probably grab some refreshing, weapon perks or invig/vig instead.

Sns and gs is the best combination if you run heavy in my opinion. Use a kite shield to carry over the counter attack buff when using guard point. Make sure to have keen speed, accelerated resolve and sure footing on your shield an sword and you are good to go👍
