*INSTANT SUB* my man ✌️ I have played the TCG semi-competitively (and by that, I mean playing gimmick decks at locals, and any YCS I can in the UK lol 😂) since around 2010. I'm a clumsy player, but I rarely ever take a game seriously. I just want to have a laugh a socialise with people. *However,* I am basically fluent in terms of YGO's history and metagame as a a circumstance of simply playing the game for so long, age 9 to 25.5: the present. 😂 Why am I going on this mad tangent? Because your analysis of Master Duel's metagame is by far the most robust, rational and realistic that I have seen so far old sport! I know this is practically an essay, but as a fellow nerd of this card game I absolutely salute you sir 👊

Should I focus on getting staples with my mats or cards I need for decks? Been doing both since I'm only interested in a few decks.

Invest in cards you know you will use. Prioritize those which overlap across different decks

i'm pretty new to the game, may i ask why that particular kaiju? just because it's the cheapest to craft? because, from my undestanding all kaijus are just there to tribute your opponent's monster without a normal summon... am i missing something?

I didn't want to put every Kaiju although they all work fine. Gamecial is popular it has the lowest atk. Jiziriku is popular because its searchable with Cyber Emergency. Dogoran is popular because it's searchable by Souleating Oviraptor. Radian is popular because it's dark. Gardarla is popular because it's Wind.

I think nibiru should be at a+. The only card that can win u the game if u get 2nd turn. Since nowadays if u get pretty much win if u get first turn.

Many decks will setup counters to Nibiru before it can activate

@@SeanVS such as? Prob drytron who rush perfection or adamancipator that opens with koaki guardian. If they play around nib too much their end board wont be as much devastating. How many times u throw nib and enemy insta surrendering. Lol

Cmiiw for tri brigade the usual combo is 1 fraktall 2 ferijit 3 another fraktal/kitt/nerval(from ferijit effect) 4 rugal (link ferijit with fraktal/kitt/nerval) 5 bearbum 6 apolousa. Means u can nib right before apolousa Well im saying. its not that many decks. Prob 1 or 2. Idk about non meta decks. I dont have big knowledge about decks

I get the “safe” feeling when i go 2nd and have nib in my hand vs other staple cards. Well its true if u got nib when u go first turn. Its not that good. But u got first turn anw.

Skill drain is at 3 in TCG nowadays. So Masterduel having Skill Drain to 3 isn't so special. It's at 3 everywhere nowadays
