I retired from the Air Force back in 2016 after 20 years as a Vehicle Mechanic. The higher tenure change got me. Lost three years and had only one opportunity for promotion. Didn't make it. I spent half of my career deployed. My last five years I was assigned to the 10ASOS as their fleet manager in direct support to the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, KS. I would've loved to have made MSgt, but I was also going through a MEB because of neck and back issues. The deployments did a lot of damage to my body. They withdrew my MEB since I was pushed into retirement due to the higher tenure change. So I ended up applying for my VA disability after retirement. The only downside was my MEB information was not properly documented, and I was shorted on my VA disability. I miss the military life, but I was getting burned out due to the politics, budget cuts, manning cuts, and subpar quality of new recruits. Employment is difficult due to my neck and back, as well as dealing with the red tape for my VA Disability increase. Life is a little difficult, but once I get through all the red tape, I will be doing better. I just have to play the waiting game and keep pushing to get the process done.

Mike you mentioned on today's podcast that you and Matt (Diesel Creek) have had a conversation that people today are watching more KZbin than TV. Just to give you a little prospective on that. I subscribe to 51 different You Tube channels of several different genres and I am sure that I watch more You Tube than I do TV. You and Hank also said that people watching You Tube tend to be of an older generation, in my case I have to agree, I am 69 years old (retired). I look forward to and enjoy watching all 51 of the channels, soon to be 52 because I'm sure I will check out Hanks channel as well. Thank you for the time you all put in to what you do!

I work 50-60 hrs a week, so searching out new channels to watch is hard for me find time to do. I appreciate you Mike for introducing and supporting other channels to me. I'll subscribe to Hank's channel and start looking over his stuff. In regard for including other folks into your content, I think it sets Dirt Perfect apart from other channels. I love to watch Chris, Jon (Upstate), Davin (Idigit4) as well as others, but I find myself being entertained by Matt (NYA Millennium) and Aaron (MBTS) so much. I've watched probably 50-60% of the Dirt Perfect videos now. Just in the last couple months, I find myself spending time now on Mr. Digg, Grass Roots Gardening, Logger Wade, etc... I actually found Dirt Perfect through Upstate Brush's video where you went to see the TV620 Case that Jon was demoing. So, It is awesome how you support other folks. Hank, Thank You for your service !

Just saying it would Be much more interesting if he was allowed to finish his thoughts or things he started to tell us, but was cut off by you! Love your channels but Mike, you do that all the time! It would be much more entertaining if you didn’t interrupt your guest! Have a good day!
