One thing you guys did not mention - or at least I didn't hear it. Not everyone has the aptitude to learn everything - I could have all the desire in the world to fly airplanes but may or may not be able to learn it - no matter how good the instructor is. Enjoyed the podcast - thanks.

Watching all of u Letsdig18, Dirt Perfect & Diesel Creek, it severely pisses me off that ppl complain during the course of said video about things that ALL u guys have explained ad infinitum in fine detail, it's crazy, keyboard warriors are SOOOO annoying 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Great podcast Mike. As a Industrial Electrician this is also a subject that is worthy to invest in. I would like to pass another local to Indiana you tuber that has a electrical business in Indy, Jefferson Electric. He is also trying to do similar things to your group. He promotes apprentice programs ect. Maybe he could be a part of your team? www.youtube.com/@ElectricProAcademy . Or maybe he could help sponsor the race team! Good luck. Jay. PS. I'm passing a link to him of this podcast also.

The problem, as I see it, is those of us that had interest in construction trades, noted that construction was largely a seasonal work. 55 years ago I exited High School and considered my options. My father and two of my sisters were teachers and my father hoped I would follow in his footsteps. Luckily an opportunity presented itself to go to work for a railroad as a switchman. During the first three years I only worked a total of 5 months and I had to find a "fill" job and wait for my seniority generated enough time to work full time. My "fill" job was driving truck for a commercial laundry. I loved the railroad and eventually retired as Assistant Superintendent-operations for a portion of the railroad. These days, though, people without a college degree are not even looked at for those entry level jobs. That mindset needs to be changed as you indicated.

You mentioned 2 types. I am a third. I was so scared of failing in traditional school that I thought I was not smart enough even for trade school. It took nearly twenty years to realize how wrong that was. I love the message you are pushing

I was watching your Dirt Perfect video where you talked about doing a podcast, which I was not then aware you did, so I paused that video, searched for the podcast, and I'm now watching this seeing Bumba Dump in the background. When I'm done here I'll continue the other video with a great big smile. Hope this all makes sense. Great job guys!
