Gladius Gaming no I think that carissimus (nominative) refers to the gladiator and turbae (genitive singular turba turbae) means “of the people” so literally is “The dearest of the crowd/public/people” this is a literal translation, you can add a verb, but you can’t change the subject (which is carissimus)

Shaman is a part of viking(Nordic) culture, but more of a Finnish thing if any, it's a shame they didn't let her speak Suomi. BTW aramusha was inspired by a ronin, not just any ronin, but Musashi Miyamoto himself, which I find super awesome, great job from Ubi as always.

Shaman is actually no Viking at all it's from Central Asia, the area around Tibet and to the north, Norse Shaman only exist in games.. I think that Ubisoft was ashamed to admit that she was originally named Huntress (of course this is much more accurate). As these DLC characters already leaked and the name of the previous 2 seasons pretty much on point they're trying to be different by naming her Shaman (and of course Aramusha for Ronin). Yeah I think, Aramusha really portrays Musashi from the way he's wielding his two sword as he was famous for. But I think like most samurai or ronin, Musashi was not wielding two katana but with a shorter sword like wakizashi , which makes a daisho combination.

Adam Florholmen I am still learning the language, but I believe that 「逃がしません」 is the correct way to write/speak it. To make it simpler, I am going to assume you know basic hiragana script.「逃がす」 roughly translates as "to set free; to let go; to let escape; to fail to catch; to let get away, etc." We take the stem, 「逃が(s)」, and conjugate it to the formal form, 「逃がします」. Then, we must conjugate to the negative form so we take the 「う」 from 「す」 and replace it with 「えん」 which makes it 「逃がしません」. Adding 「えぬ」 instead of 「えん」 in this particular case wouldn't be grammatically correct. Also, the word (when fully conjugated) roughly translates to "I will/can not set you free; I will/can not allow you to escape; You will/can not escape; You will/can not be run; etc." While it still might make sense with the 「ぬ」 , it is more appropriate to say 「ん」 instead for a more grammatical and polite way (especially sense the word is conjugated to be formal). I might be wrong because おろち might be saying it in an ancient Japanese way, but there was no information that I can find about ancient Japanese conjugating the stem with 「いませぬ」 instead of 「いません」. Plus you can't hear the 「う」 in 「ぬ」 when you listen to おろち.
