There has never been a better lightsaber duel in all of TCW. And obviously both Sam Witwer and Ashley Eckstein brought their absolute A-game once again this episode. I especially love the fear that Sam Witwer brings into his voice, especially when he says Darth Sidious for the first time. Ashley's voiceacting stuck out to me every time Anakin, and his actions to lead him down the path of the darkside, was talked about. There is this almost innate sense of fear and disbelief. Also the animation is top notch once again as well. Especially the facial animation for Maul, more specifically his eyes. Even back in season 4 they went all out animating Maul's face but here they did it again. Btw, once again (and this is the last time I'm asking this, no worries) I would like to ask, if it is possible for you to watch the end of TCW before Rebels 3x20? Would probably enhance your viewing experience, tho I obviously can't tell you why yet. Spoilers and all that.

Just this ONE episode made me care more about the characters and the story than the three movies of Episodes VII, VIII and IX combined! Thank god for Clone Wars and The Mandalorian!

Just so amazing, the mocap really gets those subtleties and shifts of weight that your eyes catch and appreciate. Then also the dialogue, you want to root for maul so maybe a lesser evil will prevail and not what we dread is to come. 1000 outta 10

the fact that ahsoka beat a sith just shows her growth and how powerful she really is, in terms of combat, she is more powerful than most jedi.

Obi-Wan : "The counsil is not always right." The will of the Force. I just wish that was a movie .I feel like we are in the middle of a movie. The next 2 eps will be the second part.

The real question is this: if she DID know, what could she do to stop it? The last domino is about to fall. This slow motion trainwreck can not be stopped. Not by Ashoka, not by Kenobi, not by Anakin; not by Maul. Even Palpatine himself can no longer stop what is to come. (Not that he would ever want to, this whole setup was his plan in the first place.) Checkmate. That is the only word for it. What would you be willing to sacrifice to stop this? Whatever it is, it will not be enough.

It never was said on screen if Maul knew Sidious was Palpatine, but he definitely knew.

The thing is, Maul was right about everything, while Ashoka was blind and had emotion cloud her judgement when Maul told her about Anakin,

This episode alone was a crucial point in all of Star Wars, if anakin actually came instead of ahsoka and got killed by Maul, I’d Ahsoka joined Maul instead of fighting him, if she let him die instead of capturing him. All of the what if moments could have changed all of Star Wars

@@goodmind4940 You clearly haven't seen Rebels if you think that's the case. It would change quite a lot.

The best fight since Rebels, wow! I know that, in terms of emotions, some sequel movie lightsaber fight might get anyone harder, but it can not top this one. This duel IS AMAZING!
