Cameron the biggest villain for their goals. He can't handle attackers at this level, particularly if they are running directly at him.

After a win against a poor Bradford side we revert to walking football with Slocombe slowing the pace down at every opportunity and as for SM saying we played well all match, delusional The owners have a massive decision to make, keep Maynard and if results continue that could really hurt season ticket sales or admit a mistake has been made. Even if it meant O’Brien stepping in until the end of the season, we need to restore some pride in our play

HiTom totally agree with your comments on the keeper selection and the change of formation for J Jones Unfortunately this can not continue for much longer with SM in charge I suspect if the Easter games,don’t go well including potentially a club record in consecutive home defeats that the club will make that decision

Maynard shows game in and game out he does not have a clue. Maynard will stay until he's lost the first 5 of next season and it become untenable to keep him without accepting that the only direction Maynard takes us is towards the National league

I gave praise to the team on Tuesday night but never thought it was a turning point and never got excited.the owners have start looking at Maynard position now and start looking for a more experienced coach to replace him with in the Sumner and maybe look at Montague position also qs this seasons recruitment as been absolutely woeful and not bringing in a extra defender in January was a mistake Maynard out 😡😡😡😡

Seems like dejection has set in. Notts fans were totally unrealistic at the start of the season. Nobody took into account how long the season is, how many things can change over the months, and how injury can skew the outcome over 9 months. This squad was never going to be better than a bottom 8 finish. Welcome back to the EFL 🙂

I was following via I follow from New Zealand but getting up at 3 or 4am for this is not worth it. A big rebuild will follow the season end. I feel for Maynard but he will be replaced Langstaff, Jones and Crowley will be bought by clubs higher up, a new defence will be put together. A new manager in and I am betting it will be a good one with a Championship pedigree. Let’s finish the season with damage limitation and be in for playoffs next season.

Cameron is out of his depth in this league, and so is Maynard. Switching up the goalkeeper after the one on the bench keeps a clean sheet on Tuesday? That’s criminal. I’m done for this season, not spending my money on these passengers.

It's time to admit it, Maynard is clueless, what's the point of keeping him a minute longer. Does anyone seriously believe he's capable of building a team that will be pushing for promotion in 2025, because we can kiss goodbye to 2024!

SM isnt responsible for the standard of players at the club and its not his fault that the owners philosophy is to play controlled possession based football in league two no matter what. It's the owners who are instrumental in this seasons calamity. Poor recruitment and appointments are our downfall. Stuart Maynard was never on my shortlist but no one can blame him for accepting the Challenge when he was personally headhunted but I bet he regrets taking the job 100% now
@johnwheat51993 ай бұрын
@@countycod123 I accept the Reedtz brothers are ultimately responsible, however with due respect, not for the reasons you sited. I have no idea why they appointed Maynard, he's totally inexperienced, and definitely not an achiever, it's not an appointment in line with any serious aspirations for the club. I suspect it's all about money, or lack of. When you dig a little deeper it becomes evident that this pair aren't the millionaire dream owners we were given to believe. Their, so called "Football Analysis" conglomerate, which is nothing more than a tipster outfit, only generates enough money to be registered as a small business in the UK, which means you can't gain access to their earnings; so, how anyone established how wealthy they are is beyond me. They paid Alan Hardy nothing for the club, their only commitment being to HMRC for unpaid taxes and outstanding staff wages. But in their defence, I disagree with you, it is Maynard, and LW before him, that are, and were responsible for team performance. It's true, the cracks were beginning to show under LW, but at least he achieved promotion, and left the club in a healthy league position. We need an experienced safe pair of hands, not a part time BT engineer from a lowly semi-pro outfit; he should go, and go now. The 2024 season is over for us, let's start preparing for 2025.
