@@F1Breaking would be bit of a mission but do you think you can look into the key people who left at merc to go am and rbr? I'm pretty sure this is the main reason for the lackluster performance at merc. The engineers mustve kept some tricks up their sleeve to help themselves out in their new teams. (fair play to them)

This shows that wind tunnel time may not be as important as previously thought, although still very important of course. After all, the zero sidepod design performed remarkably well during testing time. Merc was spearheading the development charge the very moment the 2022 regulations dropped but didnt make it. In fact, up until the very end they were saying that the zero sidepod design wasn't the problem but other aspects (which is why they were so mad at the flexi floor stuff), but that turned out to be wrong too. Very difficult situation on all sides, but hopefully they rebound and we have a 4 way title fight including Aston.

I think it's already too late for this year. Whoever came now to improve the car, it takes time to plan, test and implement changes. Meanwhile everyone else is improving also. What Allison might bring is an insight what are the areas to concentrate the efforts and minimize the damage/gain most.

I'm very interested to see what Merc rolls out for Imola then. Russell did well in qualifying at Jeddah, but the car is still so far off the pace of the Red Bull it isn't funny, especially with Verstappen behind the wheel. Max starting in 15th will at least make the race a more interesting one. Need to change my race predictions I made on the previous video though. I reckon the top 3 will finish where they qualified. 1) Perez 2) Alonso 3) Russell What are your predictions?

If James Allison saves the W14 .. I would at least hope for a full Netflix drive to survive chapter dedicated to him .. NOW it was a BIG MISTAKE to believe that Mike Elliot was the man ..
