This song singlehandedly made Archspire the greatest metal band in my life. -- A lifelong metalhead. The 15 second to 35 second point gave me goosebumps in the unbelievable drumming ability and this is before I was unable to close my mouth at the vocal speed, guitar shredding and then realizing the bass was shredding/tapping behind it. I cannot even comprehend how you write such a masterpiece. And then I listened to the entire album for one year, pretty much every day while working on dull spreadsheets, and I'm never bored with this, or any, Archspire album. I cannot praise these dudes more.

Years ago critics were saying that there were too many limits to metal and that it will grow stale. Here we are in 2021 and death metal has evolved to this. Metal is the most innovative gene of music. Not only is this tech but it's well thought out and written. It's not just a mashing of technical riffs. The arrangements are genius! It creates a flow to the song. It doesn't just sound like a wall of notes. There a awesome songs here chocked full of interesting riffs and drum beats. It is NOT just a bunch of notes crammed in for the sake of technicality backed by gravity blasterbation. Brutal, technical and fantastic arrangement. The chorus, (if that can even be said in a song like this) where the vocalist says, "drone corpse aviator" the notes in that part alone are really dark and beautiful.

Being in a death metal band myself, it's a great outlet for negativity. Take your aggression out by writing a sick song

I’m in an OSDM and at gigs the most brutal tech death guys are almost always nice people.
@zbigniewiksinski3 жыл бұрын
they arent extremy brutal imo, lyrics are pure scfi, there isnt much gore or killing, also they are melodic as fuck. extremly technical for sure, bu ti wouldnt call it really extremly brutal. aslo whole band seems kinda chill, which is nice, no stage divas, well maybe with exception for Olivier :P :D

Putting "face melting" into reality here. Once again you guys have knocked it out the park.

They took 'melt your face off' quite literally with this one.

The part from 3.10 is probably their best written piece. Everything in that part is super elevated and intense and melodic..

Brutal. Nathan Explosion approved.

I love those clean melodic sections, really juxtaposes the insanity of the faster stuff.

3:12 , thank you guys for this amazing work it's truly a masterpiece and I bet you had an even better time during the filming.

Normally this is beyond the heaviness that I listen to but I'm just blown away by how musically talented these guys are. They are dedicated to their craft and it shows! That drumming especially is some impressive shit, and none of this could be played without loads of experience and practice.

love this song, so upbeat and catchy, and a wholesome positive message about drone's lifting corpses into the sky.

I am deceased. This is the pinnacle of musicianship. This is chaotic. This is extreme. Yet, this is therapeutic.

Riff at 3:10 is so awesome. Reminds me of cryptopsys melodic side but more modern. Unreal

Not a day has gone by since the release of this album that i haven't listened to at least a couple tracks from it. This is and relentless mutation are just outright perfection to me. I haven't had this happen since oracles, mafia, agony, labyrinth and king by fleshgod... holy hell. I absolutely adore this album, perfection through and through.
