@@ericl6460 yeah :D I assume that the listener is into extreme metal. If you want to hear something that is technical only for the sake of technicality and musical flexing, then try Origin or Braindrill. I think that you can enjoy those bands only if you are a musician. But then again I enjoy Psyopus even though I am no musician so I guess it varies. :D

This song singlehandedly made Archspire the greatest metal band in my life. -- A lifelong metalhead. The 15 second to 35 second point gave me goosebumps in the unbelievable drumming ability and this is before I was unable to close my mouth at the vocal speed, guitar shredding and then realizing the bass was shredding/tapping behind it. I cannot even comprehend how you write such a masterpiece. And then I listened to the entire album for one year, pretty much every day while working on dull spreadsheets, and I'm never bored with this, or any, Archspire album. I cannot praise these dudes more.

Years ago critics were saying that there were too many limits to metal and that it will grow stale. Here we are in 2021 and death metal has evolved to this. Metal is the most innovative gene of music. Not only is this tech but it's well thought out and written. It's not just a mashing of technical riffs. The arrangements are genius! It creates a flow to the song. It doesn't just sound like a wall of notes. There a awesome songs here chocked full of interesting riffs and drum beats. It is NOT just a bunch of notes crammed in for the sake of technicality backed by gravity blasterbation. Brutal, technical and fantastic arrangement. "Bleed the Future" and "Persona Non Grata" by Exodus are my top 2 of this year.

They are just fun to listen to until you decide to start watching covers and play alongs of the individual instruments, and you realize that the chords, notes, and musical structure of the song is intense, beautiful, and genius. It isn't just a bunch of fast playing. There is musical purpose in each part. The chorus, (if that can even be said in a song like this) where the vocalist says, "drone corpse aviator" the notes in that part alone are really dark and beautiful.
