Opas diaboli was a fucking masterpeace and my gf doesnt like blackmetal which never stopped me from a year and a half of mayhem burzum and darkthrone docos and live concerts still couldnt corrupt her soul then one day I tried watain whom I thought were a shitty cof type poser band based on a bad review .watain is far more than a black metal band they are like a philosophy lesson and erics a great tutor for any occultist metalhead.also its intensely clever lyric.the best part is that watain is a gateway drug to heavy as fuck blackmetal and lets just say ive been catching her out playing my mayhem :-) and so let it begin!!!!\m/ hail the lawless

It is almost impossible how almost 15 minutes long black metal song may entertain me for the whole time I listen to it. I mean, Burzum or another BM bands do long songs, but most of them are kind of monotone, basically one or two riffs repeating for ten minutes. It is not like I do not appreciate Burzum's stuff (Jesus Todd is kvlt song), but this... Watain just make eight (and more!!!) minutes song that does not really repeat itself and I still found it masterpiece. Hail kings of black metal, hope to see them live once!
