I love how positive this sounds. Wayne seems to struggle to go through or accept his role in the cycle, but it’s like Dedusmuln views the mystery of Wayne’s cyclical woe through the scope of an archeologist/scientist, seeing it as something truly brilliant or beautiful, and eagerly wants to keep on fighting to see it to the end; if not for the sake of discovery, then for the sake of their friend.

YES YES YES DEDUSMULN SONG YAYYYYYYY 💚💚💚💚 Such a adventurous tune with those wayward riffs and piano keys, very indicative of our determined archeologist. And such a positive energy too. Wayne may be gone, and although Dedus misses him they're still going to keep their spirits up and actually work to find an answer for what exactly happened to him, and what this tells about both the past and future of hylic-kind. Or at least that's what I got out of it. Definitely my favorite track in the album next to Spell of Absurdity. Chuck Salamone deserves all the acolytes for this stunning project!

So what I get from this song cycle is that Wayne is worried Somsnosa is looking for change Pongorma is angry/nostalgic Dedusmuln is happy? Now I'm picturing a scene at the start of Hylics 3 where everyone's bummed out before they part ways and dedusmuln just shows up out of nowhere just vibing and drinking water

I see it less as joy and more of determination. He's certainly saddened by what happened to Wayne, whatever it is that caused him to dissappear, and then everyone else going their separate ways, but that same sadness drives him to figure everything out and fix things.

I've burned this album onto a cd (i don't think there's an official cd?) and played it constantly in my car, and this song has definitely become my favorite of the bunch. It's so upbeat and funky and the lyrics are fun to try deciphering, but it's still unmistakably hylics. It's honestly made Deduls my favorite of the cast, I love it!

my guess is that dedusmuln feels different after going to the moon and killing gibby, not after going to the xylem. after the gibby fight you gain 99999 exp, which happens no where else in the game. i could imagine how that would make someone feel different

Hmmmm.... hehehe! With the drive to explore and discover, I could be wrong but this sounds like good ol' Dedusmuln to me! Of particular note... the chorus reminds me a lot of his segment of the ending in Hylics 2... "shed your carapace" reminds me of how only his head appears, as if the armor was the carapace; "sow your seeds" reminds me in a weird way of how he opened up and let his, uh, worm things come out; and the rest, uh... he becomes a Sage's Token Receptacle because... ok, not super sure, maybe I'm just reaching here 😅 Either way, the song is definitely about evolution, personal growth, and the desire to discover more of the world around you as you discover more about yourself. But sometimes, the change of the world around us might not be one we welcome all that much... It almost sounds like he misses Wayne at one point.
