The Seat 1430🌟 was a tourist car produced by Seat in the Free Trade Zone of Barcelona under a Fiat license, with saloon and five-door family-type bodies. It was based on the 👉 Fiat 124 Special🔥, from which it differs mainly by aesthetic details, such as its specific grille and the double square headlights, among other details.
The Seat 1430🌟 was presented at the 👉Barcelona International Motor Show in 1969 and its production lasted until 1975👈, with a total of 255,414 units❗. It was based entirely on the Special version of the Fiat 124 adapted to the Spanish market by adopting cosmetic elements from the Fiat 125 - a model with similar aesthetics to the 124 but belonging to the upper segment by using the larger platform of the veteran Fiat 1500 C -.
Despite being a specific model for the Spanish market, its conception came 👉directly defined from Turin🙌, as in all Seats prior to the autonomy to modify Fiat models obtained in the 1967 and 1970 agreements between Fiat and the INI that allowed the launch of the Martorell Technical Center.
In this way the "Fourteen-Thirty"❤ as it was known among fans 👉was always considered a different model from the 124❗, positioning itself as an aspirational product in the Seat range 💪 as the local manufacturing of the 125 was not justified, given the reduced sales volume of the national market and the obsolescence of the 125 derived from the old Fiat 1500.
It initially incorporated the power plant of the 👉Fiat 124 Special, with rods and rockers with 1,438 cm³.
It was replaced 😥 by the Seat 131 whose 131-E versions were equivalent to the Fiat 131 Speciale, a substitute for the 124 Speciale in Italy where it was discontinued in 1974.
