Seat altea stock radio head unit removal with homemade tools

This is how you can remove the stock stereo with credit card from a Seat Altea
Step 1. Cut a credit-card to 4 pieces. Approx 1 cm wide.
Step 2. Slide them into the holes 2 on the sides and 2 on the bottom.
Step 3. With a thin tool, loosen it, and remive with hands.
The quadlock adapter has a lock on the bottom. The aerial input has one lock, also on the bottom.

credit card cutted. IT's working fine, no special stuff required. If you planning to replae it, dont forget the amplifier for the antenna.

Árpád Fodor not sure what you mean ? I have ordered a second hand unit from a breaker , do I need a separate amplifier ? If so can you post a link to what I would need. Thanks for posting this very helpful.

The one i removed was the stock one. The replacement was an older pioneer model. 2u in size with a cover plastic an iso converter and an antenna amp.

El punto donde inserta las laminas no es el correcto....... lo sacas por que sale a presion, pero no coinciden tus puntos
