I was looking for a while for some really good ones that fit tight and were heated seat compatible. So I found Shear Comfort Luxury seat covers, they had me take some pictures of my seats and send them to them for reference. It took about 6 to 8 weeks for them to be custom made for my truck, I absolutely love them and the way they fit, went with the black and grey kryptic look with the special opps package and front seat gun pouches(just like they are original seats that never had covers on them). One nice thing is they don’t block out the word Raptor on the seat, they are side air bag compatible also. They are pricey but I think worth the extra money.

I’ll have to do some research into those covers.

Had seat covers on my pro, cant recall the company but they were avout 350 bucks and fit tight. Looked good, color trim matched. I only use seat covers because I always have a gun on me, sometimes in my back pocket and over time it damages the seats. Covers usually aleays make them less comfy. And they move around a bit making the seats feel loose and weird, even when the cover is tight as a drum.

Yeah, they don’t feel as good as stock but like you, I always keep stuff in pockets (always a knife at minimum) and they catch on the leather and I don’t wanna ruin it

I'm one who asked on Facebook and I agree with you they're look good at the end of the day for me it's a truck I would be using for everything for building, trash, house crap...I had two 1500 V8 Rams before this and beat the crap of it with all kinds of work... I'm that guy with tools in my pockets, dirt, mud,etc and to me it's still a truck that I need to use for projects, the only reason I bought this truck is because the 2025 Ram came with is new v6 hurricane and it's just to new and if I'm going to drive a v6 I rather get a mid size truck and this one fit as I can still put in 4x8 sheet rock etc between the wheel wells of the bed, I do miss my 6 ft bed on the Ram but this will work with tailgate down...I get people love this truck as like a specialty vehicle, but for me it's a truck with truck duties, that's what I have my GT350R for, great video, thank you
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
Thanks for the comment and i am with you... i use my ranger raptor as a truck as well and it has already been abused as such with trips to the dump, home depot and other truckly duties. I have bent and scratched metal in the bed already and it sucked the first time it happend but now it's just how it is. Protecting the seats was priority 1 and looks were secondary, but i think these are a pretty solid compromise because they look halfway decent. Cheers... also, i'm jealous of your GT350R... that is a badass vehicle for sure!

Typically like to get seat covers and really good floor mats. Have always got top trade in value. They don’t look as good as the stock seat but they do look OK. And when your ass is in the seat you don’t see them anyway.

Great points! Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to comment

OMG I would never cover those seats . Just take care of them and be careful. Tint the widows
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
It’s hard when you go out camping and off-roading you can end up getting pretty nasty and these seats don’t really like mud, especially with the alcantara accents so I figured I’d keep them protected for most of the time and maybe take them off every once in a while when I detail it back up.

Your killing the interior look of that truck i would just install the bottom part only
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
that's an interesting idea... that is the part i am worried about so maybe i'll give that a try. I do love the look of the truck but i am more interested in functionality. When something better comes out i'll be replacing these covers most likely
@opadilla123Ай бұрын
Im doing mine but i have a person that makes them custom what i do is i make it for the back but only half way that way it doesn’t take the look of the seat from outside
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
That’s pretty solid. If I had a hook up that would make something like that for me for cheap I would go that route as well but I doubt that is less than $50 per seat like this was.
@kalijo1Ай бұрын
Yep, my first thought was just to use the bottoms.

Can you go to a tire shop and see what the biggest tire you can fit is without any modifications?
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
@@brockbingham2252 even 35” rub at full wheel lock on stock setup so unless you are going to run some spacers or collars or cut the crash bar, the stock is about the best you can do if you want to keep full functionality off-road without any risk of rubbing. If you dont plan to fully stress the suspension or if you are willing to add collars and or spacers you could do 35’s but it is going to be harder on the drivetrain and if you have the ford performance tune it will void the ford performance warranty

should look into neoprene seat covers
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
I had neoprene seat covers on my gladiator when i lived in hawaii and i really didnt' like them... they did look great and fit really well but they were extremely uncomfortable in warmer climates, they dont breath at all and just made me super sweaty, but they did protect the seats. that one is a personal taste and i really did wish i liked them more because they were cool covers... maybe the brand i bought just weren't the best.

Any chance you could link to which rear view mirror camera / underbody reverse camera thing you bought?
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
This is the one I ended up going with and it’s really awesome. I installed the undercarriage camera with some 3m hook n loop type heavy duty velcro
@GauravRajasekarАй бұрын
@@flaberdoopinthanks. Which specific model at that link? So is there no rear view at all since you pointed the camera at your undercarriage? Where exactly does the camera sit?
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
I went with the 12 pro max... pelsee.com/product/pelsee-p12-pro-max-mirror-dash-cam/ the quality is really good and the low light is pretty impressive as well... for the money, i couldn't find anything better
@GauravRajasekarАй бұрын
@@flaberdoopin Thanks. Dumb question, but do you use the mirror (without the camera) for rearview, and then use the camera system exclusively as an underbody cam? If so, where exactly did you mount the remote camera portion of it?
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
Yes, I use the mirror like a normal rear view mirror and it works perfectly. I mounted the auxiliary camera on one of the braces across the frame just behind the transmission. I stuck it there with some 3m Velcro that has been holding strong for a few months now! Cheers

That is one ugly seat cover
@flaberdoopinАй бұрын
Please send any links you have to better looking covers under $200 for a set. I am not married to these but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on this, just want to protect the upholstery
@RonPoulin-p7jАй бұрын
I haven’t seen any other covers just saying to top head rest is awful. The seat cover it self is doable. I just ordered my Ranger Raptor on Saturday in cactus Grey hope not to put covers on mine

after a 4 hours drive out to a local (well 70 miles away) trail, i ended up taking them off and i'm going to return them. They aren't terrible but not comfortable for longer drives. I'm just going to end up getting the towel type covers that i can keep in the back and pull out when needed. and i couldn't agree more that the headrest part was unsat... i think these trucks really need custom seat covers for how high the shoulder bolster goes above the headrest level.
