@@nomansland120 Because the ESP controlled it. Dude is a pretty average driver pushing far beyond his comfort zone and with pretty poor car control. He'd wrap a car with no ESP around the first tree he'd come across.

It was a fun drive for sure. it’s a car that’s very easy to handle and gives you lots of confidence when pushing it to its limits. But the real hero in the video are the tyres. They provided so much grip they made the car handle great, especially compared to the golf 8 gti that I drove it had winter tyres and even so the it was a gti it wasn’t nearly as good handling as the seat on summer tyres

Thank you for Sharing this video. There ist something I need to say about ESC and the first corner. He nearly lost it cuz he went into the corner way too early. At 0:31 you can see that the apex is way ahead (about 15-20m), but he already reached the inside of the corner. So no room to his left. He tried to compensate this by quickly changing between going straight and steering left into the corner again. That didn‘t help him much as he still understeered very hard and hard to break. And this is the moment when you definitely see the ESC kicking in. It visibly pushes his arse back into the corner. Thanks for making this video again. There are not many videos of the Cupra‘s little brother driving down the unlimited Autobahn. Still you are driving like mad and loose control about the vehicle too often for an 8 min video.

Going into the corner early allows me to push accelerate through the corner until i lose grip to understand how hard i can push it. also the los of grip at the end was provoked by harsh steering and slight throttle lift to see how the car/ESC reacts. It is a corner that is a pretty controllable environment, its wider than a normal road, no oncoming traffic and if something goes wrong there is a big rail. check out my model y Nürburgring video there i try to hit the apex and sometimes even succeed.

How does turbo work with a hybrid? I always let my turbo car idle for a minute or so after hard driving. Does hybrid immediately shut off engine, even if turbo is very hot.

i have the same car in sportstourer version, right now i am in Germany on holiday and had to test the topspeed at the Autobah. i did it on sunday evening but it was surprisingly crowded with cars, managed to get to 234km/u on the speedo twice, my GPS says 222km/u. i was wondering if the topspeed it limited electronicly or that it just can't go any faster? P.S. i drive on super plus 98 fuel

204 in Kombination mit dem Elektro motor und der drückt gefühlt oben rum nicht mehr so stark. Zum ende vom video ist auch nochmal top speed mir leerer batterie, ist dann nur noch ein 150 ps auto , da hat er ab 210 zu kämpfen
