How about we just don't respond anymore and reallocate all those resources to fixing our roads, raising teacher pay, providing housing for low income single parents and seniors, and other services for the public good. Why are we allocating all our resources to drug addicts who dont pay taxes for all these services and to drug addicts who litter, vandalize, and are a menace to society? Just don't respond anymore.

When junkies could go to a grey market pill mill they were dying less. Maybe we should go back to turning a blind eye to pill mills, and focusing on reducing the misery that leads to dependency and addiction as opposed to the gangs selling fentanyl.

One way to stop a lot of overdoses would be to provide safe drugs to the people who are going to use them anyway. However, that would not be the moral, Christian thing to do because taking drugs is a moral weakness and a sin. Instead, we'll fine the manufacturers of FDA approved, safe drugs billions of dollars, put people in prison for drugs and the problem gets worse. GIVE THEM SAFE DRUGS FOR GOD'S SAKE!

Make drug testing kits plentiful and cheap and narcan. Plus detox centers and AA/NA help instead of free drugs and enabling
