do your ESG and DEI scores matter that much? this is all a little too on the nose. its very telling when you go to an american city and eat "native american" bacon cheeseburgers, mexicans cooking polish sausages, pakistani food and korean food. if you cant see what everyone else is seeing, then you are severely out of touch with the average person.

Jesus Christ is the only way to be fulfilled. I'm writing this as I just had an encounter with Jesus the Almighty God. I was being tempted by demonic forces. I fell into temptation, and I ran away from the Lord. This hasn't been the first time. I have been on a on and off cycle which seemed to be an endless. But today, I feel called to share this testimony. I watched a video which really opened my eyes while I was still "hiding" from God. It touched my soul to the point that I fell on my knees right away, and begged for forgiveness and guidance. This was beyond anyother feeling I've felt while repenting. This one felt true. I had been like mad at God for being dumped by my this girl I was talking to. So this was a way to be tempted by evil demonic forces. I would get intrusive thoughts, and I kept trying to solve this feeling of being dumped on worldly things. And let me tell you, it only makes it worse. If you're someone who is not sure if you're saved, or if you are saved, but have been going through these on and off cycles such as porn, or secular music(which are other cycles I've been having a difficult time with) I want you to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life. If you don't know what to do, I want you to get on your knees, and pray this prayer with your heart: Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and was ressurected on the third day. I believe you came to the Earth, to pay for our sins. Thank you for dieing on the cross for my sins, in Your Name, I pray, amen. I don't know who is reading this, but if you ever fill an empty whole, which cannot be fulfilled, the only way to fulfill is by Jesus. When you turn your back on Jesus, you seek everything other then him. All worldly things, will never fill that hole. God Bless Yall! ❤❤

10 months late, but I've lived in Seattle my whole life and have always wanted to try Ethiopian food. Do you have any recommendations around the Seattle area and what someone eating it for the first time should order?
@seattlefloyd
@seattlefloyd 5 ай бұрын
@@sk33t_38(in case the op has notifications switched off) head to Rainier Valley. There are lots of Ethiopian restaurants here. Delish, on the corner of Rainier and Orcas, is fantastic. For your first time, I recommend the Delish Combo, or the veggie combo, so you can sample a variety. If you haven't already done so, read up on how to eat Ethiopian food before you go. No utensils, you pick up everything with your hands, using injera bread (a sort of pancake). You're in for a treat, enjoy. P.S. parking is pretty scarce, especially on Friday afternoon and Sunday mornings, but the #7 stops right in front of the restaurant.
@BlueJadeU
@BlueJadeU 5 ай бұрын
@sk33t_38 If you're near downtown Seattle, just get on Cherry and drive East until you hit MLK. That's Little Ethiopia over there. You've got 4 - 6 Ethiopian restaurants within a 4-block radius of that intersection. If you're South of downtown, go down Renee Avenue South to Delish. It is most definitely delicious. If you're in. The North end, try Jabena in Pinehurst or Senait on Lake City Way. Cardoon in Ballard. As for what dishes you should first try, I would definitely suggest the combination plates most of the Ethiopian restaurants around here offer. They often have a Vegetarian plate, a Meat plate, and a combo plate. When I'm trying out a new Ethiopian place, I usually get the combo plate because then you have the widest variety of the different foods they serve all on one plate to assess quality & yumminess. It should have things like tibs (spiced chunks of meat), lentils or split peas, a little green salad, Collard Greens, a cabbage/carrot/potato combo, etc. There will also be some mild and some spicy things, so if you can't handle spicy - be sure to tell the server, as they can usually substitute one of the milder things. If you're adding in extra ala carte dishes, I would suggest Doro Wat, which is basically a chicken leg stew with a hard-boiled egg. Of course, these combo plates are served on a huge piece of Injera bread, which is a thin, spongy, slightly sour-tasting bread, made from a grain called Teff. Usually they serve you an extra piece on the side. You break off a piece of bread, and use it to basically pinch the food between your fingers - then it goes right into your mouth. No silverware needed. I loved my first time eating Ethiopian, and I hope you will too. But you should bring a friend, because these combo plates can be very filling.

Rolls are actually quite common in Indian cuisine, and no, I am not talking about dosas (which really isn't a roll at all) It's generally kebabs or a curry of some sort wrapped in paratha though there are a million and one variations to the stuffing and the wrap itself.

Sonny, I live a couple Hours south of Seattle, and while im not a Seattle Native or do I live there, I am a PNW native! You should do Portland Next! Anyway, thx for coming to the PNW. I got excited when I saw Seattle in one of your videos. I also thought the Native American food truck was such a cool idea! Native American culture pre colonialism is so freaking fascinating. I think many of the recipes from those times are long lost though, as a result of the genocide, and "re-education" that was carried out against them. Like, there were so many different tribes. Some were planes nomads hunter-gatherers lived in teepees and moved camps with the seasons, others like PNW Native Americans, stayed in one area did a lot of fishing and agriculture, and lived in Long houses made of cedar. The different varieties of dishes the different cultures ate, would be fascinating! Like, I imagine planes nomads tribes ate much more meats, as they were the famous hunters of Buffalo, and the buffalo herds are basically what sustained these tribes entirely. The other tribes, like PNW tribes, are famous for their salmon fishing, especially where I live. I live close to a Reservation, and the natives there build these docks out of branches, out over the water of the river, to use nets to catch salmon. Its really cool to watch. Anyway, Its nothing less than a complete and total shame, the way our American ancestors treated the Native Americans. We could have such a rich culture here in the USA, if we hadn't nearly exterminated the native peoples.

6:55 $14.95??????? WTF! That is worth $5 TOPS! In India it would be 1$ 😕 The fact that people pay that for a "hand sized" roll is - INSANE! It's a food truck - not a Michelin star restaurant!

It comes down to whether people are buying it or not, if they do then why make it cheaper?

Not that they're not overcharging, but the cost of ingredients is very different between India and Seattle
@Craider79

@@Hana9916 I am well aware of this - which is why I said $5 and not $1. The size of it is why. That is literally half the size - at least - of what it should be for $15. Just looking at prices - a XL pizza from Papa Johns in New York is $12.99 - so this TINY roll is 2$ more than an XL pizza... that's pretty damn wild. It's a food truck! LOL

that Indian one was expensive, i mean it's a mutton wrap, mutton is one of the cheapest meats in a roti with a bit of salad for $15. i can get 2 donor kebabs with lamb and tzatziki and chilli sauce and salad + a chips and drink for the price of that little thing in my country, what a ripoff

native american?! lmao. yeah, a bacon cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw screams native american. the only thing even close to "native american" is the fried bread, which, they made because the GOV gave them the ingredients to make it. its like giving them cheese bread and butter to make grilled cheese sandwiches, and when they do exactly what you intended them to do with it, call it their invention lol. tell the brits theyve been appropriating native american fried bread with their "full english breakfast" and see if any of them take you seriously.
