I think it comes down to how healthy we stay this season. Positions like LB & O-Line could use some more depth, but if we can stay relatively healthy for the most part, I can realistically see us making a run in the playoffs.

I've been a Seahawk fan for so long I think it allows me to be the Hawks biggest critic. I would love to see my team to win twelve games but I think we will struggle to finish over .500. The Hawks are in a transition period. Some transitions go well in the NFL but most do not.

They're an Inverted Team. Good O & D-lines can carry mediocre teams to Great Heights. That 'hawks have stars at All Other Positions (except TE) & along with terrible play-calling last season had a lack of talent on both their lines & it showed. This year we'll see what a difference Mike McD can make. Does his knowledge translate to knowing how to improve the offense as well? We'll see because they didn't get any better on that o-line.

Another reason why the “LOB” and the defense collectively were super successful because they played every game with a chip on their shoulders! Best example was in Super Bowl 48. Seattle (with the best defense in the NFL) vs The Broncos (Who, just had the best offensive season in league history!) Almost every sport analysts were picking the Bronco’s because of Peyton Manning and their prolific offensive production! But the old saying in football proved to be true, “Defense wins Championships!” Coach Mac is in his 1st year as a HC, will try to install a new culture, a punishing, attacking defensive system! But it might take a year or two…It took Coach Pete 2 seasons @7-9 before the team was able to seriously be a contender in the NFC. It could take Macdonald more than two seasons, or it could be less? My point is, don’t get your expectations higher than reality! At best, they’re a Wildcard contender. We’ve still got some holes to fill…But the talent is definitely there! I think what both Macdonald & Grubb have in common is that they’re the best at putting their players in positions to succeed❗️Offensively, there’s no reason why they couldn’t drop 30 vs any team in the league! Lastly, Macdonald took an old veteran player J. Clowney and he had the best stastical year of his career! Then he literally got LB’er Kyle Van Noy off the couch and he had 1 of his best seasons as a pro! IMO, Seattle has more talent than Baltimore does, therefore if the players buy in and really understand what he’s trying to teach them, Seattle should be kicking some ass next year, and hopefully for years to come!🙏🏆

We've been overlooked since The LOB. We had really good players but our scheme was so basic so vanilla not worth talking bout. Now we're a mystery with really strong smart physical players with finally new coaches implementing new improve schemes strengthen plays bringing Seahawks into the future. I'm excited to see what this team can do now.
