Well, the Hawks might overpay for this LB but in return, he fits well with McDonald's scheme. Baker could not help to stop the run, and the Hawks have seen Ernest Jones IV for several years playing against them. This player is very aggressive at blissing and stopping the runs. The fourth round next year draft won't get you this level of player, and next year draft is considered as a very weak in term of talented prospects. This trade has proven that the Hawks want to do everything to win this year or at least making the playoff. I love this trade, and this player will address the weakest position on the defense side of the team. Go Hawks

Also Mike McDonald defense did not start performing at a high level till they trade for smith for the bears. So I’m hoping this what will happen in Seattle. Mike gets a stud LB and he becomes the leader of the team and just dominate like how ravens D did

Our DLine will do so much for his production. Baker was so bad st reading his run fits and almost worse at finishing tackles. He’s going to be pretty clean in the box. I’m very excited for him

He’s a major upgrade and will be the best lb on the hawks. He’s better in coverage than baker as well. Watch his game film. Pff can often be misleading

I’m a Seahawks fan and I love this trade Ernest jones is a dawg. Is pretty much comes down to how much Seattle pays him tho like if we can get him like 11-15 mill a year it is a still but if he wanting that big money like Fred, smith and Edmund’s I won’t be that hyped about this pick because I don’t wanna put money into a liner back who may not even turn out

Yeah but rams are about to have to rebuild and they are not trying to pay a liner back big money so they just gave him away for anything pretty much. While the titans on the other had where looking to actually do something this year but realized they still suck so need to get picks
