This is wild coming across this video cause i just watched a mirror image of myself. Only difference is i don't have any kids and I lost my left leg below the knee not my right and lost my middle finger not my pinky. But so much else is crazy similar, same age same past lifestyle riding dirt and street bikes and skiing snowboarding, lost my girlfriend and I am a homeless drug addict living in the Kirkland/Seattle area. Wish there was a way to connect with Ramdy, he seems like a good dude that I have a lot in common with and it's been hard in my current situation to find friends or even just people to talk to that can relate and understand me.

I hope you do, too. You both have been through a hugely traumatic event, both physically and mentally. I wish you peace and healing. ❤

Its wild how common motor bike carnage is, twice Ive had friends have serious accidents when Ive been about to buy one myself, the second time I took it as a sign, that and the my frightening lack of fear of speed....So he doesn't live in th RV behind him?

Do you say that when someone has the flu are they experiencing sickness, or do you they they are sick? Do you say you're experiencing thirst, or are you thirsty? This pandering language thing doesn't help. This man is homeless. It makes your intentions more questionable when you don't state things plainly.

@EtcEtcReviews It's not. Language matters. So do sources for news and entertainment. If a source is playing virtue-signaling language games It's worth noting. I think this channel could be valuable, and its search for pats on the back only lowers its chances

@@Mrjohndoe280 you're entitled to your opinion, but it certainly comes off as nitpicky to me! For me, this platform is not to pander to what the audience wants to see/hear, rather it gives the floor entirely to the interviewee while the interviewer tries to navigate their life story in a fashion as to not insult the interviewer (if you've ever been around people who don't have a home, you'll know they sometimes prefer be called homeless, unhoused, etc.)

@EtcEtcReviews I have worked with the homeless a great deal. They can handle being called homeless because it is the truth. I've never ONCE heard them complain about that. It is generally an SJW who does this on their behalf. This language game is new, does not help them at all, and is pandering. It is more insulting to them to act as if acknowledging the fact that they are homeless would be the top 1000 issues that they have. Real help starts with honesty and standards. Re-labeling something that hasn't changed is a distraction at best. But most often, it is a search praise, which is why it is ugly and usually counterproductive.

@@Mrjohndoe280 I have a hard time believing you’ve worked with them in the past ~3 years if you’ve NEVER even heard of someone addressing themselves as unhoused? One of my 70-something-year-old vets even adopted the term because he thinks it’s fun lol. It’s also been used on this channel on and off for a long time so it’s not necessarily “new.” Language is constantly evolving and changing. It just doesn’t bother me when one person wants to be called one thing and the other person wants to be called another, just seems empathetic. Not once watching this video did I think this guy would be in a better situation if he was called homeless vs unhoused😂
