Some more pros: Food scene has really picked up: The air and humidity is very fresh. Climate is always mild never too hot, too wet, or too cold. Its very very very safe (if for a city) Milage may vary: Season end and start abruptly Extremely (extremely) liberal Dog friendly Not very family friendly Most people are outdoorsy / not many "city folk" Stadiums are very close together and in the heart of the city

I just moved to Seattle to go to school at UW. It's been harder than I expected to make friends and it's super lonely and isolating in my tiny, overly expensive apartment. There are no parties or friendly people even at college. Really struggling to live here.

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried the Meetup app? There are a bunch of different groups you can join depending on your interests and try to meet people that way.

Seattle sucks. People sucks and the safety sucks. Unless you are married and making tech salary. Don't come unless you like to be isolated. Parks are filled with homeless people.
