Jake - thank you for the helpful video! Followed your steps. Only had to go out and buy a 7mm wrench and had the rest of Common tools. Resetting the RED switch totally solved the issue of not heating. You saved me a ton of money and time of having to send out for repair. Thank you so much! This just happened to my Mozzafiato and I have a feeling this vid was made off of my complaint a month ago (I accidentally messed w/ the PID advanced settings and my high limit switch triggered due to overheating) Thanks for posting, now just address the PID advanced settings and what to do if you alter them on Rocket machines!

Hey, if by any chance someone is still here you would be saving my life. I'm experiencing the exact same issue and don't get why. The pressure is always between 0.8 and 1 and when try to set it up by twisting the small screw on the right, I'm either doing nothing or the machine is going completly crazy and overpressuring. The water is 91/92° when I'm using the hot water lid but comes out to barely 50 from the group head. Spent my entire we on this and hope some has the solution... thanks !

Hi there! My Appartamento that I bought from SCG seems to be overheating. Could this solve the issue? When the machine is turned on the pressure goes way past the "green zone" and starts to hiss loudly, water comes out the pressure release cap below the brew head. I used to be able to let off a little steam and it would calm down but that does not seems to be working anymore. Thanks!

Hi, I've got this identical machine. It has completely shut down, with no green light on at all. Can you help diagnose? For a few weeks it's sounded like it was releasing a bit of pressure.... Puffing perhaps once a minute. Then today it cut out, but then came back on again. It did this a few times before dying completely. I've removed cover and tested element for continuity (it seems fine), tested switch (continuity in both poles when on),. I've checked the reset buttons on both high limit switches, both seem fine. Any ideas what to check next? Thanks!

Rocket Apartemento...the machine senses when the holding tank water is low, flashes a green light and won't function until water is added to the tank. Perfecto. ..But now that feature doesn't function. If I'm not careful to keep the tank full, I can use up all the water in the holding tank and overheat the machine. Do you know the name of the part that I will need to replace? Aso, is this a DIY replacement or do I need to bring the machine in? Thanks very much!

Would the high limit switch cause the Appartamento to not be able to get back to temp? Specifically, mine will not be able to get past 180-190F and I have to drain the boiler out completely and allow it to reheat for my machine to work like normal again. Wondering if resetting the high limit switch could fix this problem. It happens randomly for me.
