I hope, older generations are allowed to join too. Believe it or not, there are some who are interested in reversing nature damage as well.

Another project to eliminate a major food source for marine species. I have made a study of the food source on inshore fish co wrote a science paper describing the micro intertidal life found in beach cast seaweed. The life found in beach cast seaweed converts the cellulose found in beach cast sea weed into protein. In spring as the tide comes in the life is washed into the intertidal zone and marine life eat that life for their protein requirements. The paper we presented to DOC New Zealand but DOC would not publish it as they had just told the Minister of Conservation that beach cast seaweed in a marine reserve has no value to fish species. How ever after a couple of years of target fishing we had identified a large number of life that lives in beach cast seaweed. I was asked to put my discoveries into stories for the magazine NZ Fishing Coast to Coast. WE have looked and there has been no other study of the food sources of yellow eyed mullet.

This is the problem. As long as humanity keeps looking at food and nature as a profitable industry, the worse our planet will get - regardless of how many eco-friendly practices we create.
