@@TheNextPursuit That's awesome. Those are the memories that last a lifetime. I remember being there when I was young, as well. We went to Marineland more than SeaWorld, but seeing the dolphins is always an exciting thing for a youngster. Thank you for sharing your memory.

It has been a lot of years since our family went to Sea World. As I remember, we received a listing of the times of the various shows. Sometimes it was a hustle getting from one show to the next. The orcas were out favorite. Thanks for refreshing our memories.

You aren't kidding! That was the one negative, is how they schedule the shows. Seems like the 2 shows we wanted to see back-to-back, were at opposite ends of the park. That caused us to miss the killer whale show, once we got there 2 minutes late. We had just watched the dolphins, and rushed across the park to the killer whale stadium. We had to come back for the next one. You can now get the listing of the show times on your phone, through the app. Not sure if they still offer the papers, but they should. Her phone nearly went dead in the park, just from all the searching we were doing. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Derrick and Shawnasi for the video. Really enjoyed it. Brenda and I went to a sea world in Cleveland about 20 years ago. We have a foot of snow here in W.V. luckily we avoided ice and have power.

@NCMemoryMakers I believe they shut down the one in Cleveland a few years ago. They had sea world and 6 flags next to each other. This is the most snow we have had in several years. We have lived in our current house for 23 years. It's the 2nd time we have gotten a foot since living here.

Those killer whales are majestic creatures. And we didn't get too wet...Just felt some of the drops when he splashed our direction. We were sitting far enough back, that it was minimal. Mostly on my legs.

Ive always loved Sea World! Having always lived in Orlando, i grew up going there many many times. Years ago they used to pick an audience member to go on stage and get kissed by Shamu! My sister was able to do that! However they no longer allow it. Im glad yall had a great day at the park!

Thank you for watching and sharing your memories. Do you know why they changed the name of it, from Shamu Stadium? The name "Shamu", was pretty much synonymous with SeaWorld. As far as picking an audience member to interact, I guess they did away with that when the killer whale attacked the trainer? I think that happened several years back. It is truly an amazing experience. We also recorded the ice skating show for Christmas, and we will be releasing that video in November, to kick off the Christmas season. That was one of the most spectacular shows I've ever seen.

My ex husband and I took our daughters to SW years ago and we were thrilled with the dolphins. Their dad? Not so much. While at the lagoon to touch them, we got up close and personal, but he kept hanging back. The girls kept begging him over and over until he finally stepped up. He put his hand out and the dolphin turned sideways and drenched him without a drop going on anyone around him. Then it turned back around and chattered like it was laughing, nodding its head up and down! Laughter exploded - well, not from him! 🫢

@teresareed5597 That is an interesting, and kind of humorous story. It's almost as if the dolphin could sense that he wasn't really into it. They're very intelligent animals, so who knows? Thank you for sharing your memory.
